  1. We visited the Boat Avenue markets twice during our visit to Phuket and really enjoyed it both times.Lots to see, buy, and eat, with so many food options to choose from. It’s a fun market, busy and bright, with music and dancers. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and we’ll be back again.

  2. Strictly for the tourists with a fire show etc, however missing was the normal ‘buy, buy’ message making it all very pleasant and relaxed. The Thai stall holders aren’t pushy and seem to have a lets all have fun attitude

  3. The Friday Walking Street market was good. Totally like the ambience with artists and musicians too. Street market food and souvenirs were reasonably priced. Sellers were courteous as well. Other than the street market, there were cafes and restaurants such as Kenny Rogers, Burger King, Swensens, Coffee Club. Had dinner at Coffee Club. Service was great and staffs were very courteous and warm. Hope to visit again. =)

  4. Excellent Night Market. Plethora things to buy. Including food and drinks and alcohol. Large number of restaurants nearby too. Awesome 👌

  5. This store offers some international food which is really helpful for expats. The place is small and crowded and a fair number of the customers need some manners training.

  6. Absolutely awful! Not one thing appealing about this market. Terrible selection of items and absolute rubbish sold there. Even the fake watches were terrible. Lowest of the low. Don’t bother

  7. We visited the Boat Avenue markets twice during our visit to Phuket in in March last year and really enjoyed it both times, even though it was super crowded, so we were looking forward to returning.Being low season, it was a great deal quieter, with far fewer stalls, but we still enjoyed a couple of hours wandering around, and visited some of the permanent shops in the area too. We’ll be back again 🙂

  8. Not too busy at all for an Asian street market (we went on Friday night). More than the usual tat and good selection of food and drink. Fine for families with young kids, find a table at one of the bars along the strip, get some happy hour drinks and they are fine letting you bring food from the market to eat as long as you’re buying the occasional drink.

  9. Village Market is the name of the supermarket which is a good supermarket and sells a great range of foods and essentials. Apart from going there to shop for food it’s not very exciting. However, there is a Friday Night Market which as the name suggests happens each Friday from 4pm to 9pm. This Friday market is known as Boat Avenue Friday Night Market.

  10. We went here because this is one of the places our shuttle bus takes us. Overall we were not impressed. This place is highly touristy (and so are the prices 🙃). My man actually said, walking around here, he didn’t feel like he was in Thailand. I agree. If you are looking to see some of the authenticity of Thailand and their friendly prices.. do not come here.

  11. Love this place and full of shops. Conveniently located within walking distance. Highly recommended! Not far from Laguna Complex
