Great place for e day trip! We’ve got there with a log tail boat for a 2-3 hours and than we went further to see other islands around. It was totally beautiful but also busy. Anyways it’a a good spot to visit, jump in to the water and chill on the sand.
Took five hour tour of this area which included exploration of the caves via kyaking (did not undertake this), tour of surrounding islands then explored the mangroves at low tide complete with bats and mozzies. Had lunch included on the beach, although very uncomfortable due to mozzies. Also took a tour of the village and surrounds. Lunch at a very good family run restaurant. Great freshly cooked food.
Hard work to get there but worth it. Larger boat with people on turn up throughout the day but generally quiet. Nice sand and views. Some fish further around the islands. Better to Kayak to get in between the smaller islands and see the small caves.
Spectacular islands. We took kayaks and had a great day exploring the inlets, cover and caves. Then lunch and swimming on a picture post card beach. So many islands and stunning places to explore. Not to be missed.
Great spot! We kayaked over from Koh Yao Noi and enjoyed a rest on the beach. Only a few other visitors while we were there, although we did get the beach to ourselves for a few minutes! Stunning rock formations.
Nice place for kayaking ,peaceful place and amazing,I am highly recommend everyone come here, Not far from Tha koa pier,
Koh Kudu Yai’s bay is as pretty as James Bond Island but without the crowds of people.Great kayaking is possible.
Much better than James Bond island, no souvenirs stores, no hoards of tourists disrupting the serenity. Hope this will never change.
Kayaked from Koh Yao Noi to here. Is just as good as James Bond Island and without the swarms of tourist boats. Once inside the small bay you are in awe of the giant limestone pinnacles that rise out of the water. There is a small sheltered sandy beach to pull up on. Take the 2 min jungle trek to the opposite side of the island for more great views.
This island is beautiful. Serene and surrounded by clear waters. There is a multitude of wildlife inhabiting the island. Definitely worth a visit when doing a day trip around Phang Nga Bay.
