We have been today to khuk khak beach and I must say this is one of the most beautiful beaches I have had the pleasure to walk upon I can most certainly say the phang Nga province has some of the most amazing beaches I have ever seen …the jw Marriott hotel is on this beach along with a few more hotels it is very long and goes on for miles …well worth a visit
This is a nice beach although not very long,it has a lot of broken shells near the waters edge in places so can be a bit hard on the feet, the sea itself was quite rough and the waves where quite vicious most of the time we where there, not ideal at all for young children. Not a Jelly fish in sight !!!
This was one of the cleanest beaches in the area but like all, the sand gets unbearably hot so you will end up spending your time in the shade or the water. You will get to see spectacular sunsets which is well worth a visit.
Very beautiful beach lined with palm trees and conifers that give some shade. On the beach there are several small restaurants which offer a good quality. It will be found some local Thai restaurants and drinks bar, cheap as usually with excellent food. Well worth a visit.
A romantic point to watch a sunset of the day. I can never describe enough for its beauty. Also, a lot cute hermit carbs live here. We can enjoy looking at their various beautiful shells around the beach.
Really nice beach which was situated right in front of our hotel, The Haven.Sand was really good to walk on and it was just a short walk down the beach to a lovely restaurant. (From which you can also walk into Khao Lak centre.)
A nice sandy beach that is very remote. We were two families with children and no beach we recommend for families with children. When we got to the beach, we were watched by all the pensioners lying on the sunbeds. It felt like it was a retirees beach. Not many sunbeds, where the chairs were there was no good ground. Lots of plants and roots. Down by the beach it was beautiful and that makes the rating a three. The return road, which is right by the beach, was great, very good food and cheap!
We were delighted with the beaches of Khao Lak. The beaches are long, wide, almost deserted. The sand is yellow, coarse and clean. The entrance to the sea is smooth. There are strong low tides and sometimes storms.
