  1. This is the first beach you see when you arrive on the island and it’s the place that will keep you coming back

  2. Nice and beautiful beach but a bit busy as the beach is the main beach. There are not so much space to swim but you can walk to almost everywhere.

  3. This beach has the widest stratch of sand but like Sunrise beach plagued by parked boats. It also has the only 3 floating pontoons. There are dedicated swimming zones but I witnessed boats ignoring them. With all the over development on the island they really should have at least 2 concrete piers.

  4. We really got the feeling being in Pattaya. Boats everywhere. Loud bars and very buzzly. We didn’t like it and moved after two days to the more quiet sunrise beach.Depends what you expect….

  5. Our Sita Resort hotel was on this beach and we enjoyed taking numerous strolls here. Our speedboat also landed near the entrance to the Walking Street area and it was very convenient to get to our lodging. The Walking Street was very long and had had many shops and restaurants available.

  6. Perfect white sand beach, nice snorkling right from the beach, basically a dream.BUT… many boats and the longtail boats not even respect the areas closed off for the swiming. They drive right through. No care for the invironment, e.g. fire shows each night where the gasolin or whatever they use just drops in the sand… who cares. Its all about business

  7. It is a very long beach that is pretty clean but it has all the local long tail boats parked up on it so not great for swimming etc.

  8. To the visitor who wish to visit pattaya beach, be careful for the long tail. Moreover, The beach is full of die coral and stone. You are difficult to swim at the sea since the it sharp enough to hurt your feet.

  9. Many of the photos you see are from 20 years ago when there was no pollution, coral,.fish and just a few long tail boats. Now there are probably over 100 longtail boats making noise all day long. The coral is mostly dead, the big fish have gone, sewage goes into the sea and the sand is no longer powder. Sad, this place used to be a paradise. The locals are experts at destroying their best resources.

  10. After reading the reviews I can’t help but feel they are a little unfair. Pattaya Beach is the main beach in Koh Lipe and the one which speedboats and ferries will bring you to.It is the busiest beach and more developed, but it has a lovely selection of beach bars and is a great spot to watch the sunset with a cocktail. There are fire shows in the evenings and plenty of places to eat.The beach was clean and the sea was clean, the sand soft and powdery. Lots of long tail boats if you want to head out for the day. It is also right by Walking Street so very convenient. This beach is for those who come to Koh Lipe for a bit of life

  11. Nuts!Wonderful island but you want to get off this beach asap! Boats coming and going people people and then some more people it was crazy (although I was there during Chinese new year!) it was like Torquay on speed! There are wonderful quiet beaches nearby, luckily!!!

  12. Your description of Pattaya beach us misleading. It is not crystal clear or safe to swim there. There many sewage outlets on Pattaya beach area. It is safer and cleaner water at Jomtien and Naklua beaches . Which are a few kilometres nearby . Easily reached by baht bus or bolt taxis.

  13. Be careful with those beach vendors renting out sun loungers, and selling foods and drinks. Food might be contaminated, and I highly suspect that Chang beer there were filled in with totally dirty beer. My stomach went crazy and I had big irritation. I threw the beer on the sand, its color was more brownish. When brought the bottle it was open already. Don’t be fooled by their simplicity.
