First time experience which did not disappoint, Tongdee so happy and friendly, once lifetime experience which I highly recommend booking
An amazing experience visiting this elephant camp. ThongDee was well organised and the staff were friendly. We arrived and we were given the elephant ThongDee and we trekked with her through the wooded area and came back and fed ThongDee 24 bananas! She eats 100KG a day and is 39 years old. The owners explained what she eats on a daily basis and she is always hungry! We bathed her in the water and we were asked to go in the water and clean the elephants. It was such a wonderful experience.The elephants were well looked after and cared for. There was no evident damage or cruelty at the camp. Lots of visitors experiencing the elephants whilst we were there. A fantastic visit.
Small place with elephants that take you on short walk then get a bath and some food. Very friendly staff and a great time.
This is a small family run operation, and we were the only people there at the time. The elephants are well cared for, and it was a lovely gentle experience. First we went for a short ride on the elephants through the gorgeous bush land. Then the real fun began. You then get to scrub the elephants down, and give them a bath. The kids were able to sit bareback on the elephant in the pond, and the elephant loved spraying them with water. Fun all round. You also feed them bananas.
Excellent visit 3000 baht plus tuk tuk two adults 1 child but well worth the money. We had the pleasure of getting to know two of the elephants both beautifully kept and looked after. The owner spoke very good English and answered all our questions 30 minute ride on the elephants plus bath time which the elephants and us really enjoyed. Local people making a living but worth it better than some of the bigger businesses
We love visiting the Elephants, they are so cute and adorable. We love them. It was so much fun. We will visit them again soon.
We got to feed and bath a mum and baby elephant, it was such a fantastic experience. Staff were great and elephants where very cheeky. Loved it!!!
The driver took us to a local village where Tongdee resided. We were welcomed by the keeper who was gentle and friendly..It was such a great experience walking around the village on the back of Tongdee. Feeling the massive shoulders moving and her rough skin and hair was humbling! After the village walk we were taken to a big bathing pool where we had the best time bathing and feeding Tongdee!!Highly recommend this one!
A place that promotes riding and too mucb physical contact shouldn’t really be an attractive option. There are more ethical places.
Cute elephant and nice people with lovely food to have afterwards and a little authentic souvenir shop. The man let us try some fruit from the tree and we rode the elephant who seemed to be well looked after.
