We did the cooking course with Penny this evening and we really enjoyed it. She was a really good instructor and broke down the recipes fantastically to make them simple but the results were delicious. So much food, don’t eat all day before going! The set up for the school is super and communication was excellent beforehand. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped off afterwards. 1200 baht each was a bargain.
Penny is a wonderful and bubbly character. She made made us feel comfortable and gave easy to follow instructions. So you do not need to have prior cooking experience at all! The portion of food we cooked is quite alot so bring along a big appetite!
After the very warm welcome from Penny, the head of the cooking school, we started straight away. Everything was perfectly prepared and organized. In addition to the interesting insight into traditional Thai cuisine, the hostess’ funny manner was the highlight of the course. We can highly recommend this cooking class!
This cooking class was absolutely incredible. It was tailored so everyone could make their own dishes, but we learned how to make everything on the menu together. Penny was an absolute star, so welcoming and funny. She really made the experience 5*. At the end we were all sent a cookbook and recommended ingredients to buy via WhatsApp. This means we can make these simple yet delicious dishes again and again. Penny even offered to offer advice when we were back home via WhatsApp if we got stuck!I cannot recommend this cooking class enough, by far one of the best things I did on my trip to Krabi.
