  1. It was an amazing experience, very respectful of the animals. I’ve never been close to an elephant and I was mind blowing of how beautiful those giants are.I’m excited to get to have the same kind of experience somewhere else.Thank you !

  2. Today was absolutely unforgettable at the PENR! We had the incredible opportunity to feed elephants, which was such a heartwarming experience. We also got hands-on making vitamin balls for them—how cool is that? And guess what? We even crafted paper from elephant poo! Our guide was fantastic; she shared so many fascinating facts about these majestic creatures. Each moment was filled with joy and wonder—definitely a day to remember!

  3. Loved it the elephants where treated well and wasn’t made to do things that they didn’t want to We helped feed them and watch them and no interaction with them which was great

  4. We arranged to be picked up at our hotel and they were there early, which was nice. We looked very carefully at the elephant reserve experiences before booking to ensure we chose an ethical one and were not disappointed with our choice. The elephants are all rescued and we were not aloud to touch them bath with them or shower, we made their breakfast and also made their vitamin balls as well as making paper out of dung while observing these magnificent animals. We were educated in elephant ways and educated on their ill treatment through shows logging, etc. We stayed for lunch, which was delicious. Highly reccomend

  5. The morning was absolutely brilliant. We had a great guide who was knowledgeable about the elephant problems in Thailand. The elephants were beautiful and we got very close to them(!) but without touching them. We fed them and prepared digestion balls for them and saw them give themselves a mud bath! The elephants were well cared for and seemed close with their carers. They had a small forest to forage in for periods in the day. We made elephant poo paper and had a nice vegetarian lunch. Great to see these animals up so close and hoped we were helping them rather than adding to the problem. We can sponsor one too!

  6. This was a great experience! Very informative and you get to see the elephants in their natural habitat. It’s so fun cus the crew knows all the elephants and their personalities, you can tell they truly appreciate them and treat them well.

  7. This elephant sanctuary is great! The elephants are all left to roam at their own free will and are clearly very well cared for! The tour guide Tom answered all our questions happily and again really cares for the animals! We got to watch the elephants eating and bathing at their own free will and there is no contact with the elephants. Overall a magical experience

  8. Fantastic experience learning about these beautiful animals. We really appreciated the focus on the animals welfare and on creating an environment that helped them heal from previous injuries and trauma. We had the 90 minute program, which was perfect for our family with children. We still got plenty of chances to watch the elephants feeding, moving through the forest, and playing in the mud – but I loved that it was up to the elephant what they wanted to do. Dang (the human one!) was a great guide, very knowledgeable and funny. It was obvious how much be cared about the elephants, and believed in the work of the reserve. We would recommend this experience to anyone, especially families.

  9. 5 out of 5. Lovely to see the gorgeous elephants enjoying life after their awful life having to give rides to stupid people. The guide Dang was very informative with loads of knowledge about each elephant and other things. Very ethnical elephant sanctuary would recommend to everyone. Did the short 90 mins but got loads of good pics and videos.

  10. We were keen to visit a sanctuary where the welfare of the elephants is the highest priority. We did the 90 minute tour which was fabulous and we learnt a lot and our teenagers / young adults got a lot of Instagram worthy photos standing close to the rescued Asian Home elephants. This reserve does not allow bathing with or touching the elephants. We then stayed for lunch. Great location only a 15 minute taxi ride from Bangtao (easy to get a taxi back). Highly recommend.
