There are at least a dozen spa places along Phra Nang beach in Ao Nang. Some offer no privacy with the massage taken place in a courtyard just off the beach walkway. Others are semi-private…in a large room, not exposed to passers by, but with others next to you. Phra Nang Spa offered only private single and couples massages, which my wife appreciated! We got the foot massage and was extremely relaxing after a long day of walking. Courteous staff gave us a nice foot bath and allowed us to change into comfortable robes. The 60 minute massage was so relaxing that I fell asleep!
Although this spa charged double what the other much lesser quality places do, it is at least 10 times better and still extremely cheap. By far the best massage we had in Ao Nang. Don’t waste your time going elsewhere. From the moment you walk in you know ta going to be a great experience. These girls are beautifully trained and know the exact amount of pressure to apply. They are totally professional, the rooms immaculately clean and appointed and there is absolutely no chatter or phones going off so it allows you complete relaxation. Do yourself a favour and go here first. We wish we did instead we found it on our last day which we were bummed about as we would’ve been back here daily.
I would definitely recommend this place, if you want something more than a massage on the beach. I have had their signature massage, which is a whole body Thai massage with herbal treatment, and it is really relaxing.The whole atmosphere was super relaxing and the people working there – really professional.
Found this spa by accident during my walk along the Aonang beach. Only the reception counter is on Ground level by the roadside. All other services are located at basement level. Premise is clean, except at the reception lobby which looks quite old and not properly maintained.Had 1hr traditional Thai massage and 30mins leg massage. Nothing special about the Thai massage. I’ve had better massages in Thailand before. But price is cheap compared to a better spa.As Muslim in Hijab, I had requested for a private room or private area but not sure if because it was not available or the staff couldnt understand the request, I was placed at the general massage bed area. Eventhough there were curtains, it was not properly enclosed. I wont recommend this place. Credit card is accepted with additional fee.
I am not one to automatically try out a spa My Husband and I decided we would give it a try and we first went for an aromatherapy massage, the staff were warm and welcoming and the Spa was very clean we had a wonderful relaxing massage that felt really good so much so that later in the week we decided to go for a second massage and this time tried the hot oil once again we had the same wonderful welcome and a very relaxing time. They picked up that I had tightness in my upper back and even worked that area a bit more. The pricing was within the range of the area as we had looked at other places and we thought it was very reasonable. Thank you to the staff we really did enjoy and would certainly return
