Very nice course that was in great condition. Quite busy but so is most courses in Thailand. Caddies of a good standard although their English wasn’t the best.
While it was a 1.5-2hr ride from downtown Bangkok, my wife and I agreed it was worth the ride there. We thoroughly enjoyed our game! The scenery of the golf is golfing paradise, especially since we were there in end December and thus the weather is sub-20degs with low humidity! Very fast greens with true rolls! Truly enjoyable and recommended!
I played this course on a rainy day and the course was very wet but it’s well worth the 1.5 hour trip from Bangkok. This is not an extremely difficult track however you may want to bring a few extra balls as water comes into play on every hole. The only real issue I had is that not a single person I encountered that worked there spoke English which made it tough to get any information from my caddy or in the clubhouse.
Despite it is a bit far from downtown BKK it is worth the effort. Overall I will state that there is a real management behind everything and all of the staff got a clear idea of the word “customer satisfaction”: 1. well trained and extrem friendly receptionists which give you a warm welcome and make you feel like coming home 2. Overall: very good caddies (I’ve been there now for more than 12 times having a different caddy each time) 3. A well fitted restroom area including a japanese hot pool 4. A highly recommended restaurant serving a great variety of meals. 5. I appreciate that there are six kiosks + toilet facilities alongside the 18-hole-course 6. On the “downside” I’ve to say, that the greens are not that speedy as they look like, so you’ve to adjust your putting. This course is highly recommended and should be on everyones list.
Clean and well maintained golf course, nice caddies and facilities are not outdated. The restaurant also serve good food

I am at Lotus Valley at the moment and just Googled it. The first Trip Advisor review was negative and I found that odd. I have played some of the finest courses all over the world and Lotus Valley stacks up well as a good test of golf, a fine clubhouse, new hotel, fine restaurant and courteous staff. This plus the added joy of excellent Thai caddies and lots of wildlife in the lagoons surrounding the course. I stayed three days at the hotel and played every day with two old friends who are scratch golfers. It was one of our best golf vacations ever.
We were on a golfing trip to Bangkok with friends. Lotus valley Golf resort was on our playing list. Played a good round of 18 holes. Course was challenging with a lot if water hazards and bunkers. Greens was nice and fast. Overall a nice club with good holes and greens. Club house and locker room is nice too. Caddies need to speak at least english so they can communicate better. An interesting and challenging course. Overall a good visit.
The Manager can improve customer service, he has power to make a descion but does not.I had to pay 700bt for my friend come to watch, seriously on top of my 2300bt green fee.Imagine it was my mum I wanted to show around, he is has the award for best manager
This resort neees a lot of work. We went there for a junior golf tournament. The resort had one restaurant Green pool. you are 90 min from Bangkok You are literally stuck in a sub par unorganzed resort. I wouldnt call it a resort i would call it a summer camp.
