The existence ladyboys beautiful and fairly easy to find in Bangkok, sometimes may make some women jealous with their appearance. Performing here shows how subtlety appearance as if the women were dancing and other attractions. Beautiful. Interesting as a consolation to see the world from the other side!
Tuesday night we (4 of us) got front row seats for the 8:30PM show. The girls came and talked to us for 15 minutes before the show. They went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. The show is fun (the girls and costumes are spectacular) but short (about 30 minutes). Afterwards the girls are available to talk and pose with you for pictures. We felt this was well worth 500 THB!Be advised it might be a little difficult to find Club Dang2. It is in the back of a small mall.
Club Dang2 was within walking distance of out hotel in Soi 18 and we were flying blind as no one could tell my son and I much about the place. On our arrival, we were met by two ladies who escorted us to our seats and sat with us for a chat. As it came time for the show to start, we realised that we were the only two in the small theatre! Nevertheless, as our hosts left, the show began….What a colourful and energetic show it was. The costumes were quite extravagant, the music was paced to maintain the action, the choreography was well pitted to the music, and the girls were gorgeous. We had to take our hats off to the ladies who performed the whole tasteful show with energy, smiles, and really looked as though they were enjoying themselves – all in front of an audience of just two people. This marked their professionalism.After the show we had some photos taken with the group and then continued our chat with the principals. When we finally left to go for dinner about 30 minutes later (Cabbages and Condoms just down the lane) we discovered that the rest of the group had been waiting all this time outside the theatre just to say their goodbyes to us. How sweet! We found them all a sincere, professional, and warm group of individuals.How glad we were to have found Dang2.
The theatre is located at the back of a shopping mall. A little hard to find, but worth the effort ! The ladies were beautiful, friendly and very entertaining. No extra costs at all for photos or drinks. The owners were concerned we were not drinking enough for the cost of our ticket. I think total cost was $20 AU. Great value for a show, drinks, photos and the girls are very eager to talk with guests before and after the show. They even took is outside to improve the photos!
The best show I’ve seen. Right from the opening number these amazing girls had us captivated by an amazing performance and excellent professional costumes. The girls do not hassle you out to buy drinks and were happy to pose with us for pics at no charge. No hidden charges on top of ticket price. Excellent performance.
The show is something to see. The performers were so much fun! The place is a little hard to find but it’s located in a shopping mall. Would definitely recommend it!
Like many have said earlier on, this place is a tad hard to find. It is located in a korean food “shopping mall” right at the corner, but within walking distance from the BTS. They have two shows a day at 9pm and 11pm and should you come earlier than that they would chat with your prior to their performance. The actually performance (dancing) lasts for only about 30-40mins. The night we went, there was a total of about 6 guests. Although there were only the few of us there, all of the ladyboy performed to the best of their ability and smiled sincerely throughout their performance. I really enjoyed the dance and you could see that they too enjoyed performing. Do prepare lots of 100baht note beforehand though as after their performance they would all request for tip after the performance.The only down point for us was the ladyboss, Sakura, though, She was rather domineering throughout the experience. Forcing us to clap along during her performance and leering/ rolling eyes angrily at you should you not clap or more importantly gives her a tip. The rest though were angels! Overall it was an enjoyable and fun night but would have been perfect if the ladyboss wasn’t constantly pressuring us for tips!
What a great time! This is a Japanese-owned ladyboy bar and show, located at the far end of a Korean shopping mall. What’s not to like about that?!You can pay a flat fee to drink all night (it’s not a rip-off) or just have the show and one drink. Credit card accepted.It’s a small venue, with probably no more than six girls on stage at any one time. The show itself is about 45 minutes long with numerous cast and costume changes. It’s not seedy in any way, just thoroughly entertaining – highly recommended.
Spent 90 minutes in a taxi on our last night of honeymoon trying to get here. Arrived and it was closed. Other people also had turned up for the show. It seems to have shut down but there was no information on the site. Tried to get dinner around the area but it was really expensive and full of prostitutes who had their children on the street with them. Gave up and went all the way back to near our hotel for a decent meal and live music. This ruined our evening though.
