  1. This place started at 6.00 till 15.00 hrs. We were here after 4 which doesn’t have much to see anymore. Only things that still selling were fruits, veggies and clothes. Price for fruits were cheap i.e guava was only 40 thb per kilo instead of 80 at Tops.

  2. I went to visit this market today. I was very excited about this trip, we were picked up at our hotel at 6.50 am arrived at the travel agent compound and had to wait for others to join the tour eventually we set off at 7.45 am from Bangkok with a small group of 4 persons. Our English speaking guide from World Travel Service was almost like a general did like to be interrupted when speaking and we were told to listen as he did not like to repeat himself. We were not caught up in traffics going nor returning. The excursion was very good, please beware that some of the local vendors can be pushy prices are highly inflated, don’t buy white cardamom as its lotus flower seeds. Bottom line it’s a tourist attraction not a shopping expedition

  3. Interesting little market right on the river. Quaint shops selling all manner of things. Lots of vendors selling cheap local Thai food. Two or three places selling good coffee. There is always someone singing over the load speakers (Thai karaoke). Very pleasant place to sit and people watch.

  4. you must visit this when you go to Bangkok, far but worthed to pay approx 1500bath retur. For taxi and 1500bath for entrance fee included ride the elephant, take approx 2 hours by taxi from Bangkok, and take 2 hours to see the attraction thru the riverYou may buy lunch on the floating market, reasonable price
