It was an awesome trip. Nature’s always wonderful. I felt both excited and relax. Staffs were nice and kind with service mind as thai ppl.
Walked past this unassuming tour agency near Ao Nang beach and decided to ask the lady about their tour package. She turned out to be really helpful and informative when sharing the tour packages they offer. Just a bit of info before you approach this store.Of course what is a holiday in Thailand without a little bit of price haggling, the sales lady is pretty open to this and will check with her company if she can bring the price lower to fit your budget. My advice would be to know your baseline budget for each tour you intend to take and work towards that. She was nice enough to let us leave the place for awhile so we can discuss on the price and package we need, no hard selling here. Overall, the tour we booked were pretty OK, with the Kayaking one of our highlights on our trip. I shan’t review the tours here as this is after all a agency and just help to set us up with the relevant tours. We would go with them again when we are in Krabi the next time.
We had a wonderful day seeing a number of Islands on the Hong Island excursion. Was very well organised and lunch was great, as well as all the provided equipment was all in good condition. The kayaking was amazing and well worth it.
This is by for the best agency in Ao Nang. We could not have find any better agency with such a professionalism and high quality tours. We had a very bad experience to the agency next door and were a bit skeptical to book another tour but Karnthida made all her possible to book us the best trip ever! She spent some time explaining to us all the trips they had, the differences and gave us personal tips. This is a family owned agency so no risk to have a mean or unprofessional employee, they are all smiling and will do their best to help you!Do not miss the awesome mango sticky rice of Karnthida’s mum, this is by far the best one in Ao Nang (and I can tell you we tried almost all of them).Really, couldn’t be any happier and thanks to TripAdvisor we can now recommend this agency to anyone. Our trip to the islands and the tiger caves was well organised and good-value for money. We did the hong island tour with Krabi starlight tours. They were about 30 minutes late to pick us up and the food was really not up to our standards but these were the only negatives. The guide was great and we had enough time at each of the stops and never felt rushed. Would definitely recommend this tour and would suggest taking your own lunch.
The price for day tour is reasonable. I had booked my 4 days tour with this agency before my trip to Krabi, they had given us a wonderful day tour, time to fetch us from our resort is punctual, food was nice especially they recommend us to take out Koh Phi Phi Tour agency to Phi Phi islands. Even full payment were collected for the remaining days for other day tours, they will still sms you to check how’s the trip for the day. When is time for us to say bye bye to Krabi, the agency caught us by surprise by giving us 2 boxes of home made biscuits. Starlight Travel And Tour is definitely highly recommended for all tourist visiting Ao Nang.
Really good experience, they were able to create a tour that fit our needs, something for only 2people, and it wasn’t expensive at all (almost the same price as a group of 30people). Bonus, the lady was really nice and was speaking English perfectly
Star Light Travel & TourDo not use them – total scamWe booked a private long-tail boat tour for 8-16 people, advertised as an 8-hour experience, including hotel pick-up and drop-off.The driver arrived 15 minutes late and then made an additional stop to pick up another couple from a different hotel. We didn’t actually get to the sea until 8:45 AM.The long-tail boat itself was in terrible condition—broken, rusty, and very uncomfortable to sit in.We reached the first island, La La Ding, only at 10:00 AM, even though we were told it would take just 45 minutes.By 12:30 PM, we were already being called back to leave Hong Island and return to Krabi, arriving back at 1:30 PM.The captain spoke very poor English, even though the company assured us he would be fluent enough to guide the tour.Overall, this was a terrible experience: • They lied to us. • The tour was much shorter than promised. • There were delays and lateness in the pick-up and ride. • The boat’s condition was unacceptable. • The captain could barely communicate in English.When I presented my complaints to the agency—all of them valid—and requested a partial refund, they refused.This is nothing short of exploitation. Do not go near this agency—they are scammers.
