This is the best golf course I played in Thailand so far… best facilities, super nice staffs and very challenging holes! Super nice scenery along the beach, too. I played two games already and will come and play more!
Great new course with superb facilities and excellent quality.Good pace – 3 hours for 2some.Very friendly staff,caddies need more experience and better english,but its doable because attitude is right.As I’m staying in Mai Khao Marriott close to Sarasin bridge its less than 30 min relaxed drive.1st choice for me in my next trip for sure.If they are creating packages for 5 + rounds- I stay loyal!
New/young and beautiful course north of Phuket. Terrain is generally flat with well maintained fairways and greens. There were a couple of greens affected by the excessive rain requiring repairs otherwise overall condition is excellent.Course difficulty is generally easy as it’s flat and in my opinion lacking some character.Club house is excellent and spanking new while caddy is friendly and hardworking.Overall positive experience
the best in the south. the absolute best maintained course around. everything about this place is top notch. the greens and fairways are immaculate. the only downside is I believe they should have used the ocean a bit more as only one hole hits out to the ocean. but it is hard to find a fault from the staff to the facilities it is a very special place to visit.
Everything is perfect here! The golf course is in amazing condition, the greens, the fairways just perfect. The changing rooms like in a 5 star luxury hotel and the restaurant offers a wide variety of Asian and Western dishes.
This is an outstanding facility, well within reach of Phuket. Nestled in an up-and-coming area of PhangNga, the layout, fairway, greens are a treat for any level of player.The staff is well trained and constantly being updated on how to better serve clients. Truly one of the better golf experiences I’ve had in Thailand.
This golf course is relatively new and thus all the facilities are great. The caddies spoke some English to enable a good round of golf. Fairways are well maintained and greens are consistent and true. Balls will roll where you aimed to. Challenges include bunkers and water hazards. It is quite an easy course to navigate even though some holes need some management. There is a great restaurant on site. We had lunch before teeing off. The food was relatively great and the beer was cold. The service staff was helpful and professional. The reception and marshalls were helpful and suggested that we take up the twilight golf (tee-off from 1430 hrs onwards) which save us enough of green fees for our lunch. This is a great golf course and it would always be our pleasure to return to enjoy the super course and friendly staff. Thank you Aquella.
Terrible experience. The manager just left the course and the fairways are all dried up. There was absolutely no grass. The worst thing that happened was my husband realized his driver cover (it was a brand new John Daly lion cover) was lost at hole 3. He told the caddy to go back and look for it and the caddy said no need, she will tell the Marshall and the Marshall will bring it back. No one ever got back during the round and we asked the reception again when we were back at the clubhouse. They just said they couldn’t find it with an annoyed attitude. We said it wouldn’t be impossible as the course is rather flat and it’s not that big. We kept asking how they normally deal with caddies losing clients’ items. They didn’t say anything. Then they said the manager is on leave and just sent a caddy master to talk to us. When we said we are going to file a police report, the caddy master said it was found and they are bringing it back. It took half an hour for them to bring it back (as they said it was brought to the contractor’s office). The case is very dodgy and we will never be back again
Green and tee-boxes are excellent. Also bunkers (thankfully not in too many!!) in excellent condition too. However, I have to admit I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the fairways. The day I played, the carts were restricted to the cart-paths. That didn’t bother me – I thought perhaps some works were being done to the fairways but there was no sign of that. I wouldn’t be rushing back for the price charges and the quality of the fairways – there’s better value elsewhere.

Hole 11, the signature hole, is a standout feature—playing directly towards the beach and offering breathtaking views of the sea. While the front nine is slightly more challenging, the back nine provides a more relaxed yet enjoyable experience.The caddies are friendly, knowledgeable, and speak sufficient English to assist effectively throughout the game. After your round, the on-site restaurant is a must-visit. The food is excellent, and the service team is both professional and genuinely welcoming.Overall, Aquella Golf and Country Club exudes class and charm. It’s a destination we highly recommend and one we’ll definitely return to.
