Great bar and always made to feel welcome by Danny, Chunthira or any of their staff. It gives a relaxed atmosphere where live sports are shown (also by request if you dont see what your after) shoot it off on the pool table or just chill with beers and watch the world go by, everytime i’m in Lamai its my daily stop for a few cold ones ????

Came here daily playing pool. It’s a good table. Chang beer is 90 bht. Friendly bar staff.I was really disappointed though last night. I asked the owner nicely if he could put a certain football game on. Nobody was watching the many TV’s around the bar but the owner seemed a bit on his high horse and said “i don’t think so”. Maybe he took a disliking to me, who knows. Think i’ll take my custom somewhere else next time.
Great bar, great value, but most importantly the staff and owner, Daniel, treated us and our 87 year old mother, traveling with us, with care and generosity!!Daniel’s a delightful guy and played DJ for us and our mum, playing Frank Sinatra etc! Really good bar with pool and terrific staff!!
Just visited this bar, nice atmosphere but the white wine was very obviously watered down! The bar was fairly quite and I enjoyed a game of pool with my husband. We were about to have a second game when two of the young female staff practically snatched the cues off us so that they could play a game themselves……not good ? we had visited the bar the previous night with friends and one of the young girls was rude then too but we gave her the benefit of the doubt, unfortunately (for the bar) tonight she confirmed our first opinion of her was correct! This is the first time I have ever put a bad review on TA but the Owner of this bar needs to know how poor his staff are
Was surprised to see Guinness on draft in Thailand but the manager/owner is Irish which is amazing as he sits in the bar. Great pub/bar in Koh Samui with good prices and great hospitality
Great little bar, very long happy hour from 09:30 – 20:00, Good selection of cocktails, really friendly staff and a free to play Pool table – what’s not to love!
We love visiting Kelly’s when we are in Lamai. The staff are friendly and fun. Danny and Bun are lovely hosts, they are very welcoming to pub usersThere is a really good pool table, which we used on a number of our nights there. Sports are shown on a number of TVs in the bar.
Like a lot of Lamai bars and restaurants in June, Kelly’s Tavern was generally empty during our stay. We called in once for pre dinner drinks and thought it was ok. It wasn’t a conscious decision not to return, but we never got around to it. There were fuller bars with better atmospheres around, unfortunately.
