I recently organized and directed a three-week study tour in Thailand and Cambodia on the topic of CSR and Sustainable Tourism for 14 undergraduate business students from the University of Washington (Seattle, USA).During our stay in Thailand, we used the services of Khiri Travel which arranged various tours and other activities: From a very creative night tour of the Rattanakosin area of Bangkok to a personalized visit to the Jim Thompson Museum. Khiri was outstanding in every area: They were efficient, responsive, and, very importantly, they designed and operated safe and sustainable tours of high educational value for my students.In addition to these tours, the senior management of Khiri Travel, Mr. Niemeijer and Mr. Monneri, also took the time to present lectures to my group on the trends and importance of sustainable destination management, from which the students learned some very valuable lessons.In the end, Khiri Travel delivered excellent value for money, and I would not hesitate to use them again as our operator
While it is quite easy to get around in Thailand, we indulged the luxury of having our whereabouts being arranged by Khiri Travel. Not only did the hotels and lodges meet or even exceed our expectations, they made sure we get the right transportation as well. Every contact on our route was well informed and showed a friendly service which suits the Thai people by nature. Most outstanding and pleasant surprise were the days that guide @Pang en driver @Ko took us into their world. Safely driven and with humour Ko made sure we found our way to the destination. And Pang gave us detailed and vibrant information about history, nature and culture. Besides that she made sure we got to taste every fruit, every Thai dish and every iced Tai Milk on our way. We’re looking back on a great trip to beautiful Thailand and thank Khiri Travel for taking their part in that!

My wife and I were introduced to Khiri via Timbuktu Travel who they are partnered with. In Bangkok, our Khiri tour guide was Pang and she was wonderful. We spent sevarl days with her touring temples and riding the canals. She was very knowledgeable and we had a great time. We had great meals. Then we went to Chiang Mai where our Khiri tour guide was Ake. He also was very knowledgeable and took us all around the city and to the elephant sanctuary. Both of our guides were wonderful and extremely helpful. We highly recommend Khiri.
We were very impressed with all 3 of the guides we had in 3 different areas of Thailand. The drivers were excellent with very clean vans. Water, wipes and air conditioned vans were a plus!First, “Pookie”, was there to greet us at BKK. Our first night, she took us on an amazing “foodie” tour in China Town. It was our first time to Bangkok, and she really made us comfortable, and no request was too much. She also was very efficient at the airport, helping with our luggage and getting it checked in. We basically wete watching her as she so effortlessly checked in our luggage.Second, Montri “Gang” was our guide for 2 days in Chaing Mai..so informative, kind, and fun. He took many pictures and immediately sent them to us.Lastly, Chita, our guide to Koh Lanta and back to Krabi mainland. She was always smiling and very sweet. We were actually sad when it was time to say goodbye to Chita.All 3 guides were on time, friendly and made our activities fun without being intrusive. Very efficient at the airports as well. When arriving at our last hotel in Krabi, we thought we wanted to change hotels. We messaged our travel specialist in the US, Timkutu, who immediately got back to us with contact info for our contact in Thailand at Khiri. Her name was Be, and she also IMMEDIATELY got back to us and was so helpful.We ended up not moving hotels, but we were VERY impressed with how fast she replied back to us.Overall, Khiri Travel did an EXCELLENT job at helping make our experience in Thailand fun and seamless. We felt so taken care of.If ever I return to Thailand and want a driver or guide, I will not hesitate to call on KHIRI TRAVEL.
