I really enjoyed my first visit to the Rendezvous Bar at the Landmark Hotel. I joined the Friday night wine tasting group and loved the ambiance and the setting of this bar. It was a dim and classy setting which enriched the experience for me. The servers were professional and the singer was lovely. The only thing I did not enjoy were the wines which were from South Africa. The appetizer food bar was delicious and were presented in a lovely display. Finally, for only 1,000 baht for all you can drink wine and food I found this to be a high value dining and wine experience. I look forward to my next encounter with this group at the Rendezvous Bar.
Amazing duo with incredible voices made for a great couple of evenings. Very friendly atmosphere and highly recommended.
Excellent duo, very friendly and interactive with the audience. Would recommend to everyone I know, would love to see them again.
My visit was on May 17th and I went there with my wife and friends who had recommended this place to relax and chill. We had chosen Friday as they had a on going promotion for free flow of wines and snacks from 5.30pm till 9pm!We arrived around 6pm, got seated (reservations are recommended) not long after, the 2 piece band started playing. They were great! The resident 2 piece band from Philippines (Marty and Jane) soothed us with songs and there were even a few couples who got up and danced when they changed tempo! We even requested a few songs which they were more than happy to oblige us with. The wines selections was good and the bar snacks were good but would be great if they had a few more selections to choose from. The service staff was very good and attentive. Our wine glasses were filled up by the waitresses who hovered around pretty fast. Overall, a great experience and I would surely come back again on Friday’s for wines, great service and awesome live music!
Firstly I will mention the band. They are a duo, Marty and Jean and they are fantastic. Their harmonies are perfect and they can sing absolutely everything, this is a band you definitely want to hear. The Friday night wine tasting is wonderful value. From 6pm until 9pm free flow wine and tapas. The staff are attentive, professional and so friendly and welcoming. You can drop in any evening and you will find such a great ambience in this bar, you will not be disappointed, I definitely recommend it.
We are quir\te regulars there on Friday nights. Great wine tasting and good snacks. One can make it your dinner. The CSI Duo (Jean and Marty) are the highlights. Great music and an amazing repertoire of music. Marty has an amazing range – even falsetto,
Worth spending time!!.899++ for wine buffet, from sparkling to red, with unlimited topas is worth enough for spent your Friday night at this great atmosphere lounge along with beautiful voice from CSI duo band.

Grim. I have been going to various bars and restaurants in The Landmark in Bangkok for nearly 30 years but never has it been as grim of this. The early evening ‘happy hour’ is anything but and more resembles a sports changing room with international clientele in various stages of undress yelling at their smart phones on speaker mode or watching videos without headphones.. As you no doubt suspect, I seek out this sort of ambience as a matter of course (not). Still, to be fair there’s not a lot the hotel can do if the world accepts travellers who appear to have difficulty in walking upright and show a signal lack of consideration for others. What the hotel might do to improve matters is cheer up the Grey Lubianka of the bars interior. Again, I know the hotel is undergoing major works but the bar interior is really quite miserable. I wouldn’t be surprised if Stalin suddenly appeared or Lavrenty Beria demanding a Georgian cheeseboard and a selection of underage girls. The grey ambience might work if the hard-pressed staff (not enough of them) were less doggedly serious and a bit more engaging. On the two evenings I have taken cocktails here this week, only one member of staff (Khun Namfah) took the trouble to engage me in conversation. On the first evening, the white wine selection was bleak. A barely acceptable sauvignon blanc – the type you hold in reserve at home for guests you don’t like – and a pinot grigio that appeared to have been cooked whilst still retaining a feel in the mouth that the dentine on one’s teeth is being chemically removed. Nuts. In a bowl did little to soften the assault on the senses. However, the excellent dim sum which is on offer on the bar menu. went some way to saving the evening. The siu mai and har gow were examplary direct from The Landmark’s wonderful Chinese kitchen. Refreshingly, Khun Namfah knew all the details of this off the top of her head (impressive). But apart from that, I really couldn’t wait to bail out. On the second evening, I became ‘the invisible man’. My cocktail was left in the mixer for twenty minutes while the staff struggled with either poor wifi or poor payment systems to take payment from a man who appeared to dressed for an afternoon beside the pool. As with automatic doors, I needed several attempts to restart the cocktail service. The difficulty that the man in swimming trunks and flip flops had in paying is clearly the norm here. On my first evening here, payment was equally fraught with staff suddenly disappearing with my card to ‘try it out’ in other machines around the hotel. What price digital security? The second evening, I made three attempts on two different machines before deciding that I would live a longer and less stressful life if I paid in cash. Finally, signage on the toilets here is moving with the times with all figures on the signage appearing to wear dresses. Not the best, certainly not the cheapest and frankly, after 30 years, I think I’ll be looking elsewhere for my cocktails.
