My friends and I had a great day at the class! We loved going to the markets and were taught so much about the local foods and Thai culture. We cooked four courses and all were so delicious. It was so interesting to see how authentic Thai food differs from the Thai food we eat in New Zealand. Highly recommend!
Tony’s cooking class was an authentic cultural experience, beginning from the trip to the local market for street eats and to learn about the groceries used in Thai cooking, followed by the opportunity to cook 4 Thai meals with unlimited access to recipes after the class! Would definitely recommend!
We learned so much from this course. I enjoyed walking around the local market and trying some of the food and it was great having a local guide who was able to explain what the foods were and how they were used.Tony taught us how to cook a wide range of dishes. He was patient, knowledgeable and his instructions were very clear. There were only four of us on the course so we had plenty of attention when needed.It was a great morning and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to cook some Thai food. An added benefit was that we had no washing up to do at the end!!
This was an amazing cooking class with the wonderful chef Tony. We were taken to the local market by the lovely Annie ( sorry if I got your name wrong but you were fabulous) to get our fresh produce to begin our cooking class. This was not just a shopping expedition for the class ahead, but a complete breakdown of all of the produce at the market and their culinary attributes. We then began our class with Tony and his team. We cooked 4 dishes in total and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the amazing meal at the end.I would highly recommend this Thai class if you were contemplating a cooking class while in Phuket.
This was such a Highlight of our travels in Thailand so far! It felt so Authentic, Tony was so friendly and knowledgeable. The food we cooked was amazing and there was so much choice as well. Please if you are just considering it – do it!
This was an amazing experience. On of the highlights of my trip to Phuket. The trip to the market was so interesting. It was great getting knowledgr about manybof the ingredients used in thai cooking We also got chance to try some of the local food whihc was yummy. Then we went back to tony’s kitchen.The kitchen is so well set up. Spotless and clean. I noticed there was so much attention to hygiene standards. Very impressive. Tony and his team was very welcoming. One of his team even took pictures for us so we could focous and enjoy the cooking sessjon. The whole evening was a delightful experience filled with fun and laughter. At the end we got to feast on our yummy food. We even got sent Tony’s recipes so we can try to recreate this at home. I would 100% recommend this wonderful experience.
Tonight we had the BEST cooking experience with Anna! She was the most attentive, incredibly knowledgeable and amazingly skilled chef to learn delicious Thai food from. Her previous many years experience of working at a Michelin rated restaurant shows! We thoroughly enjoyed her bubbly and considerate approach to learning all the skills we needed for the cooking lesson and she had everybody engaged from the beginning. I’m so excited to take the recipes home with me and whip up not one, but three authentic Thai dishes to impress family and friends with! Thank you so much for a magical and unforgettable time, I’ll definitely be back when I return to Thailand again!
Great day. My son and I learned how to cook 6 different dishes with Tony and his excellent team. Started with pick-up, went to the local market, cooked in a very clean and nice location. And the food tasted VERY good. TRY IT!
