Really nice spot for a 2-km walk depending how long you wish to walk or run. Great path used a lot by locals. A Sundance of wild life, lizards, fish, birds to see. Nice spots to sit and relax.
Amazing views from the skywalk and lake. Also a great place for bird watching. Saw several new ones I hadn’t seen before.
Located south of Sukhumvit Road. This park is very huge and is great for jogging or just casually strolling. Kind of reminds you of Central Park of NYC or Shinjuku Gyoen of Tokyo with a view of the city’s prominent skyline.
A quiet oasis from the busy streets nearby in Asoke and Nana. This park is large and has plenty of spots to sit, relax and take in a bit of nature in Bangkok. Only ten minute walk from Sukhumvit Road you escape the buildings, cars, motorbikes and crowds. Here people are jogging, leisurely strolling along or walking their dogs. Lots of birds and squirrels too.
Super cool park to get a break from the city. Try the skywalk to get a cool view of the park in a way that I’ve not seen before.
Great park for exercising as it has walking running and bike trails. Not too busy.In addition it has a wonderful wetland area with several kms of both raised and ground level paths. If you’re into exercising suggest staying in a hotel close by.
Nice large open green space in busy city of Bangkok. Parkland with structured gardens and paths near the lake to more rambling lawns, ponds and wetlands. Great for walking, including a network of raised walks across the wetland and ways to cross parts of the city, including connecting to Lumphini Park and Silom. Observe the various plants and birds.
This is a relatively new park near the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. It seems that is is still not finished. However, some parts are really good, like the forest on the spot where there used to be a tobacco factory.
Another wonderful outdoor space, more of a nature reserve. Has cycling, running and walking lanes. Good information as you wander along the many skywalks.
Absolutely amazing place. Combined with Lumpini park and the somewhat surreal walkway between them you have hours of running/walking/biking to do. There are places in the park where the buildings and sounds of this wonderful but noisy and crazy city are completely hidden, and you have to remind yourself that you are in Bangkok. The lake is beautiful and, like the rest of the park, impeccably clean and well maintained. It is true that in the hotter months (starting in late March) it must be uncomfortable, but hey, if you want the best of Thailand, come in December.
