We were looking for a day tour to Kanchanaburi that concentrated only on the historical sites of the area; the War Cemetery, River Kwai Bridge, Death Railway, Jeath War Museum and the Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre and Memorial Walking Trail. We also wanted a local guide in Kanchanaburi. There are plenty of tours online, but we couldn’t find one that met our specific needs. We spotted the website for Canary Travel and headed down there (situated on Tani Road, just off Khao San Road). We were greeted by Chan, the owner. We chatted with Chan about what we wanted to do and she set about making a few phone calls to build a personal itinerary. We ended up with a private driver, Lek, and a local guide, Ricky. Lek picked us up at our Bangkok hotel and dropped us off at the end of the day. With Ricky’s guidance, he drove us around the Kanchanaburi area. Ricky was very knowledgeable. He gave us lots of information about the history of the railway and the sites we visited. It was a long and very emotional day visiting historical Kanchanaburi. We saw and learnt about everything we had on our list and not a moment was wasted. If the idea of a customised tour appeals, Chan at Canary Travel is the person to speak to. Highly recommended.
I cannot recommend this travel agency enough. Ms Chan was the lady who helped resolve an airline trip that was cancelled. She rang the airline and sorted out the problem which I was going to let go and book another airline thru her… so consequently she made no money from me. Absolutely outstanding service and whilst waiting to see her she was dealing with a ” young backpacker ” who she spent time with . I am in Thailand for many months this trip , and will definitely see her again about a driver in Chiangmai area .5 stars is not enough .
Chan at Canary Travel was so helpful. We needed sleeper train tickets urgently after we were let down by 12Go, with whom we had already booked and paid, but 11 days later were told the ticket had sold out. Chan quickly issued us with tickets, kept us informed and emailed them to us, we didn’t have to go and collect them. The price was also £15 cheaper per person, even with the booking fee and card fee. We are really grateful and would recommend.
This was a travel agency that I googled and it came to the top of the list. Nothing was too much trouble and we went through our options carefully before choosing a bus trip to Koh Chang. Thank you for your efficient service which I highly recommend to others
Unbelievable service. We had a cancellation from Nok Air 2 days before travel and as we were enroute from Australia could do nothing until we got to Bangkok. We were prepared to buy a new airline ticket thru Ms Chan but she rang Nok Air and got us on another flight. She charged nothing for her outstanding service. I definitely recommend Canary Travel and Ms Chan. Unfortunately, 5 stars are not enough for her exceptional service.
Ms. Chan has sixteen years of experience as an travel agent. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. She always has a smile on her face. For all your travel needs go see her. I have been coming here for years. For Pattaya, she suggested I go see Coral Island, viewpoint and the Scantury of Truth.

Amazing Service… Highly Recommend Found Canary Travel through Google, Glad I did. Everything was taken care of by Ms Chan.When an issue arose I texted Ms Chan who took care of it immediately. Even when I texted Ms Chan at 05.30am for one of my tours.. she responded immediately and was onto the guide on his arrival time for pick up. Her tour associates were also polite and professional and the day events were well organised.. pick up and drop offs were carried out on time. The lunches served on the tours were in good locations and were delicious and good satisfying portions.I booked a trip to Erawan Waterfalls but got food poisoning and couldn’t attend. Ms Chan was professional and was able to rebook at no extra cost which was gratefully appreciated as I thought I’d lost the money, so thank you for that. Due to my food poisoning I was also unable to book the 3 day trip to Cambodia.. which i was really looking forward to doing, so hopefully next time I’m in Bangkok I will book this with you.Canary Travel Ms Chan is polite, professional, she is definitely on top of her game.. Only one issue, I wish you had more tours for me to book. Apart from that everything was awesome. Well done. 5 stars. ?❤️
