The only word to describe my experience at Let’s Relax Spa Phuket : PAINFUL. I love massages and have tried many massages in many places. But for this joint, I must say that I am truly disappointed with it. Booked directly via their website on Jan 17th for me and my mom at their 2nd Street branch. Paid BHT1,200 per pax for the 1 hour service. The masseurs did the first 20 minutes without any strength (like someone who have starved for days). Then I requested them to put in a bit more effort, this is where the pain began and for the rest of the 40 minutes. Couldn’t enjoy at all as we suffered in silence. Don’t waste your money.
We called and made an appointment with the Let’s Relax Spa at Millennium Resort Patong Phuket. It took us a while to find the spa as it was rather hidden, having located across the swimming pool from the lift lobby. Before we began, we were given a cold drink and a touchscreen pad to indicate our massage preference ie. the strength level, the areas that the therapist should work on. We were then led upstairs to wash our feet. I was quite surprised that the therapist was quite thorough in washing the feet and toes. Having done massage elsewhere, I have thought that this step was usually done briefly to merely cleanse off dirt. My friend and I had a room to ourselves (though it was a 4-bed therapy room). There was a proper changing area within this room. We’d 2-hour Thai Massage with Hot Herbal Compress. At the end of the treatment, the therapist applied the Hot Herbal Compress and I could smell a mild herbal scent, which was really nice. They then ushered us back to the reception for a hot tea and coconut roll snacks.I would recommend to tip the therapist generously. I had also visited other Let’s Relax Spa in Phuket but each outlet seemed to have different arrangement, eg. we’d to change by the bedside or the Herbal Compress was too hot. But overall, the therapists’ skills were very consistent and professional. Personally, I felt that the staff here were much friendlier. The ladies at the front desk were very cheerful and command of English were better, especially Ponchaen (might have gotten the name wrongly spelt) was helpful.
Did a spa package at the millennium hotel branch. The package includes foot and thai massage. After the foot bath we were brought to a room. First time experience foot massage lying on a mattress? Was asked to lie towards down of the mattress, and when did that masseur wasn’t happy as i was too down. Went a little higher and ended up she just pulled me downwards. Somehow didn’t get her expected length and her english was poor too. She also tried to adjust the clothing of my husband without telling what did we do incorrectly and nails somehow scratches him. At the end of the massage was asked to stretch my leg and she just pressed me with force till i asked her to stop. Once done she asked to put in our feedback immediately using the tab given and she was trying to look at my screen when i was providing the feedback. For a hotel standard and amount that we pay, it is shameful for such service and will not be back to this branch again.
I spent 2.45hrs for the dream package at Phuket Millennium. Very good, quiet and relaxing environment. I slept thru my foot massage, then moved to room for other massages. She did a great job! The place just right above the Jungceylon Shopping Center.
Let’s Relax is a big chain and some we were concerned that some branches were too busy that they may not be delivering quality service. We were very lucky to have found this branch inside Millennium Hotel (4th Floor) behind the pool. We arrived at 10:30am and were most probably the first customers. The 2 hour Thai Massage was excellent from beginning to end! The welcome pandan drink and cold towel were refreshing. Most importantly, the therapists were patient and professional, taking care to do a good massage for the customer. My therapist was Prawanrat and she did an absolutely great job to massage all my stiff muscles. The massage ended with hot towels and relaxing oil applied to the neck area, followed by a hot drink and small snack at the reception. We had a massage every day in Phuket and this was the best we had!
In October during our visit to Phuket, we wanted to try Thai massage so we chose the Padong branch of Let’s Relax Spa. We had Four-hands Thai Massage for an hour with two masseuses working at the same time. The price was around 1250 THB. It was the best massage I have ever had. The place was very clean, the staff was so nice. There were beautiful flowers everywhere. I would definitely recommend this spa in Phuket.
My friends and I decided to visit this Let’s Relax based on the recommendation from our hotel. At first glance the spa was clean and seemed newly renovated. After choosing our treatment we were led to the area to wash our feet. As we were a larger group we had to take turns due to the limited available sinks. As we stood in line to waiting I was shocked to see that not only did they not use nay plastic bags to cover the sink for each guest they did not even wash or sanitize the it between guests. All they did was dry it with the same towel they used to dry the last guest’s feet and then on to the next guest. The rooms were spacious but had an odd smell. The massage itself not very good. My therapist massaged me way too hard. I had to tell her at least 4-5 times for a softer massage but she didn’t seem to take instructions well.Overall, only 2 out of 9 of our frds found the massage to be decent. We went back another day to give them another try, with a smaller group. This time I went for an oil massage. I was asked to take a shower first which I did. The towel I used to dry myself accidentally fell to the floor and I left it there. When I was laying face up on the massage table to saw that the therapist picked up the same towel I dropped on the floor and came to cover me with it! I immediately asked her for a new one, which she did while muttering something in Thai on her way to get it. This time the massage was better but only average at best.Overall I wouldn’t recommend this spa when there are many other options in the area.
I have tried let’s relax in Ao nang, Krabi and it was amazing. However, I was shocked that the let’s relax millennium branch is way below expectations. The reception was so cold and not welcoming. The masseuse was surprisingly unprofessional and doesn’t have any curtesy. I was so disappointed as the service didn’t match with the expensive price. Therefore, I don’t recommend this branch.
What an amazing experience, I’ve actually never gone for a massage anywhere, in my entire life. My wife goes in for them about twice a week back in America so I was looking to her a lot for backup add to whether or not this massage was looking top be good or not. The decor and ambience of this place gave a good impression right off the bat and my masseuse immediately gave an impression of confidence and experience so i felt more at ease pretty immediately. In high school and in college I wrestled, boxed, and briefly engaged in MMA before difficult or important fights we’d make sure to do more intense assisted stretches and ligament work to help prevent injuries we used a lot of yogic techniques, this was a master class in how we’d been doing it wrong. This was excellent, every joint and tendon pushed to the perfect limit using techniques i had never heard of before. Every muscle and joint in my body feels more pliant than it has since my early training days as a teenager. It’s a very deep tissue, calisthenics style of massage different than those accustomed to gentle western massages may be used to but the results were amazing. I turned to my wife afterwards and asked if this was a typical massage, mainly because, the advantages to physical therapy like this would be exactly what I’m looking for in a massage. She looked at me and gave me a flat no, so my first massage may have been my best massage… oh well guess I’ll have to come back.
Clean, quiet, with private and semi private rooms. In a separate wing on the 4th floor of the Millennium Hotel, but part of highly rated Asian chain. Opted for the 3 hour Heavenly Relax package. The included 45 minute massage on a leather sofa was excellent. But the full body massage on a futon was one of the best treatments we ever experienced in Asia—and we go weekly.
