This place is chill and has a stunning view. It’s quite small so you need to book or reserve the table. I was there for having the cocktail and took the nice atmosphere.
It was our last night and we were going to just hang across the road from our Phra Athit hotel but hubby decided to search for a nearby rooftop bar. We usually go to above 11 but it looked like it may rain so wanted to stay near. What a great find!! Very good prompt service, nice drinks at good prices. 280 cocktail. They have a small menu and we had a couple of snacks which were tasty. It’s only 5 stories but it is right on the river with views of the grand palace opposite and wat arun just near by. Super nice cool fans and outside deck. (they get busy so book), it is full of locals and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Watch the boats go by and listen to some nice tunes. We were staying at pier 13 so caught the orange flag boat and got off at the 3rd stop. Easy to find… walk along the path to your left as far as it goes then head straight until the little lane, turn left and it’s just a few metres along at the Baan Wangland hotel which also seems nice. Take the stairs or the lift to floor 5. A real gem of a find and a great night but book to get the best spot.
Great river views and a great place to watch night fall. The sunset is behind you, but there are fantastic views of the Grand Palace and Wat Arun as they are lit up by the setting sun, or by floodlights after dark. OK cocktails with a Thai twist, with a ‘3 for 2’ happy hour from 5pm. Nice bar snacks, plus meals are available too. Book ahead it’s very busy (mostly with Thai customers, so a good local feel), and if you are coming by taxi be aware that the roads to the Baan Wanglung hotel (which the bar is on top of) are small and crowded. Well worth a visit.
This cozy bar is a good spot for sunset with friends. If you are looking for a rooftop that does not need to be too high and a nice riverside experience, this is the place. Prices are reasonable, cocktail menu is nice and there are plenty of affordable food choices, even though the portion is small. View is worth the price.
Fantastic view of the surrounding architecture. Drink options were plenty. Friendly service all around.
A somewhat hidden rooftop bar on the river, but still off the beaten tracks. Given the beautiful view, I would consider it moderately priced. Interestingly, there were also some nice craft beers on the menu. Enjoy!
My wife and me came to this place on January 3th. The had almost all outside tables empty, they said we could not use any of them. The were very rude and they lie to us. They take advantage of the gorgeous view of the wat phot temple to do such things. Don’t dare to make a claim, they will become worst. I’ll highly recommend the place at ground floor, Cafe n10. Better view and way better service. Picture taken from Cafe n10.
Its my first time to visit this bar and feel like this is the perfect place for me to relax. Affordable prices and Staffs are helpful especially CK who gave me the table with a good view. Great job! Recommended and surely will be back.
The restaurant is on the 5th floor of a small hotel next to the river. To sit and have a drink was very relaxing. Nice view. All dishes were very tasty, especially the spaghetti tom yum Kung
