This place is great. Awesome golf course and the hotel is spectacular and both at reasonable rates. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I’ve been back several times and introduced some friends to the place and we all love it. I’ll be back for sure.
Great golf course, very beautiful , not easy but also not too difficult. Awesome place. Would love to come back. There is also good hotel , very good service, good food very nice clean rooms, great pool and beautiful views. Do not go to bungalows, it won’t work for us ( they are rather small and no spectacular views )
Nice to play on this difficult golf course, not too crowded and beautifully kept by many greenkeepers.After a round it is great to relax in the clubhouse with a fantastic view.
Three pals and myself went to play a couple of games of golf and were blown away by the experience.The breathtaking views as we drove up to the complex were a sight to behold.Our rooms overlooked the course and we really appreciated the Jacuzzi on our balcony which allowed us to unwind after playing the extremely difficult course.We had a nice dinner in the hotel and played again next day.The 10th hole is a true test of golf and with water surrounding the green a real challenging par3The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for them.A great experience and we will certainly be back next year.
On arrival at Katathong, we were disappointed to be told they had no record of our booking despite showing them the confirmation email. However as the hotel was not too busy we were soon given rooms. Unfortunately we were not able to play golf at the booked time so we waited in the restaurant until we could play.Once on the course we were very impressed with the layout and condition as well as the friendly and knowledgeable caddies. We dined at the hotel that evening and felt the food was not as good as we had hoped. The rooms were very good, large and bright with views over the course and a large Jacuzzi on the balcony. Breakfast was again disappointing and all the American breakfast was cold. So other then the F&B which could easily be improved we enjoyed a wonderful 2 days
There were 4 of us in total, played 3 rounds of golf in 2 days, ate in the restaurant 3 times, great food and value, the staff treated us like we were the only people in the place. Wil be back soon.
We stayed for 2 nights and 2 rounds of golf and enjoyed every single minute!!Great staff very nice caddy’s and a beautiful Golfcourse and atmosphere.We felt only sorry for the hotel that there were no guests because of COVID 19But we for sure we will be back in the near future Theodorus
The Tee ground and fareway weren’t as smooth and nice, but loved the course.The fareway were narrow and difficult since my driver shots normally go to the right, some holes were just so exciting and photogenic, especially the Par3! Some Par 4 were longer than expected but in a good way!I would like to come back again, after knowing I can get a better score! The staffs were very nice as well!
The setting in the mountains is stunning. The golf course has some of the most spectacular scenery and holes that you will find. The course is made up of beautiful hills and terraced slopes and a maze of streams emanating from the large lakes.A wonderful, highly recommended experience. The supreme serenity that envelopes the hotel and resort is relaxing despite the travails of negotiating the tough course. The big swimming pool and fascinating vegetation lend themselves to a calming influence that will de-stress and relax.Staff and caddies are welcoming and eager to assist.A truly awesome experience that should be enjoyed by all.
this place has so much potentia just a little rough around the edges. a very challenging and beautifully laid out course. friendly staff good caddies. nice club house and restaurant and a lovely hotel that is affordably priced. worth the trip
