Excellent value and great workmanship!My friend and I actually went to another Khao Lak based tailor to ask for some leather trousers and waistcoat. We were told it would not be possible because we were here in off season but they made some calls and Mr. Chai came by and made it possible. He asked us to his shop where we discussed what we wanted to have and two days later the first fitting took place with samples made from fabric instead of leather and with an almost finished shirt. Little adjustments were made and last night Mr. Chai and his Co worker brought the finished goods to our hotel room. They all turned out fabulous! Great workmanship, great materials and perfect fit!Thank you! We would definitely recommend a visit at Chai Tailor if you consider getting something custom made, even if it’s rather special like a flaming red leather jeans 🙂
A true fashion gem in Khao Lak. Beautiful shop front located off the main road stocked with a fantastic variety of quality fabrics. The staff spoke perfect english and were friendly and very welcoming. Mr Chai is a true master of his trade. He helped me create a unique jacket from nothing more than a concept and a few photos. The process from initial measurement to complete garment was quite fun and exciting, with two fittings to ensure the final design was exactly what I wanted and the perfect fit. The quality of the garments was simply stunning, with meticulous attention given to every detail. I ended up getting an additional two shirts, a pair of trousers and a silk waist coat, which were made perfect in every way. Their pricing is very reasonable and competitive. Mr Chai and his staff were enthusiastic and passionate about every garment they made for me. If you are spending time in Khao Lak and are in need of a tailor, i can’t recommend Mr Chai Tailor heighley enough… Highest quality work, very friendly service and excellent value for money…
