This was great trip. The guide, Sakkorn was very kind, helpfull and gave us a lot of information about Temples, culture, buddism and meditation.We have seen some old temples outside the chiang mai, have been to Doi Suthep, coffe plantation, local restaurant, see a lot of great views, hill tribe village.Highly recommend it if you are staying in Chiang Mai

We saw waterfall, beautiful temples, coffee plantations, hill tribe village.Our guide was very very nice and full of knowledge. It was great to listen what he told us about Thai local life, beliefs, Buddhism etc. He even showed us how to meditate!Coffee plantation was such a nice and beautiful place.The only thing that I didn’t like about this tour is – visiting hill tribe village. This was the 2nd hill tribe village I visited, this was not that touristic, BUT I just absolutely hate this feeling walking there and looking at how people live there as they are a thing. Would you like someone coming in your house staring at you and taking photos? I was feeling very very bad about being there and disturbing their life, I think they should be left in peace and left to live their own life. I recommend the tour as it’s very educational, but never would I recommend to visit any hill tribe village.
We booked a one day privat tour with Mr. Sakorn.And he gave us a wonderful memory.Friendly he guided us to wonderful places.Would recommend that to all of my friends.
It’s unlike most tours where we would frequent touristic places, Sakorn brought me to waterfalls (though it’s a mini version), jungle walking, quiet temple in the jungle, lovely coffee plantation (a pity it’s only for university students research purposes and no tours conducted), famous Doi Suthep, hill tribe village (which I personally don’t really like cos it’s like invading into their privacy and see what they are doing on a daily basis).Sakorn is very knowledgeable and is ready to answer all questions I have.
This “secret tour” was one of the highlights of our entire Thailand trip. Sakorn was the perfect tour guide who constantly kept us entertained with his in-depth knowledge of Thailand, Chiang Mai and Buddhism, along with his bright personality and great sense of humor. We felt that this tour gave us the unique opportunity to see sites and temples we wouldn’t normally see, as well as a chance to learn more about the culture of Thailand. 10/10 would recommend.
Me and my partner took the tour in nov 2017 and had a brilliant time. Sakorn really knows his stuff! He is also brilliant company to spend a day with! We went to the jungle temple, waterfall, hilltribe village, & coffee plantation. My only regret is that i wasn’t able to go drinking with him as we were flying out the next day! It was the highlight of our trip!
It was a nice day with Sakron, but in the end we noticed we don’t like private tours and prefer tours in small groups. The waterfall was not impressive, the coffee plantation was closed because it was Sunday, but the walk through the village was nice and the temples were impressive. The entrance fee for the Wat phra that doi suthep is not included in the tour price.
Perfect day and organization.We enjoyed so much this day with elephants, from feeding them, preparing medicines with vegetables and fruits, bathing in mud ( so funny time) and washing in the river.A day we will remember for ever.Thank you Funky Monkey for this recommendation.
