Best elephant experience everFamily run sanctuary where you get close up and feed and hug the elephants before showering and scrubbing themGreat atmosphere and family and staff super helpful – even doing a special session for us as my girlfriend had left her bikini at our hotel ands we ran back for it!!
Great park! Simple and close to nature. Friendly people, elephants are well treated and the program is quite comprehensive: feeding the elephants, walking them in the nature, cooking class and lunch. Highly recommend!
Unforgettable this is a must do in Phuket. Amazing experience and good to help these animals. Small family owned sanctuary where the elephants roam around the natural habitat. You can feed them, hug them and walk with them into the jungle. It feels like exclusive access here as no tour buses or big business. You can opt for lunch too and the owners set up a wok if kids want to help cook the food. Everyone is provided with water and Thai tea. There is only great care here no riding or chains, don’t support cruel parks this place is a haven for visitors and animals alike. Pictures are a must the elephants seem to love people and the family that runs the sanctuary for generations love these elephants. Thank you amazing experience.
Amazing experience. Small business with super friendly staff with elephants that are cared for very well. Up close and personal experience with elephants. No need to book – just rock up. Number of options you can do ranging from 30 minutes to day packages. We took the feed and short trek option which lasted approx 1 hour 30 mins. Would go back!
Such a cool experience! We chose the feeding option only as it was our last day and we didn’t have much time. The staff was so kind and helpful! Our guide took a ton of great photos and videos for us so we could just enjoy the moment. Elephants seemed very happy and well cared for!! Highly recommend 🙂
Amazing experience, Got Lucky and there was just the 2 of us!! Elephants all looked happy and well looked after. The guides were all extremely friendly and looked after us the whole time and even provided some snacks and drinks. Airdropped loads of photos and a little video for us also!! Pick up and drop of service all included which was great. Would have given more stars if I could!! Definitely recommend
A must do during your stay! We did the feeding experience as had plans for the afternoon but it was amazing, we got up close to the elephants, fed them their breakfast and even gave them a drink and a little shower. The staff were amazing and took so many photos for us! The elephants are clearly well looked after and have so much space! There was no chains or hooks and no evidence of any cruelty. These elephants are clearly previously owned as they are so obedient but the family are taking good care of them and they clearly love them!
10/10 Small groups. Family ran and operated. They have a genuine passion and care for their elephants. Close to central Phuket which was good for small kids.1,600thb for adults which was a transfer from hotel, prepare and feed elephants, mud bath with them and wash and swim with the elephants. They took a heap of photos for the group and then transfer you ALL the photos for FREE!! Drinks and snacks provided as well. They do not advertise a heap so you need to ask for it at the booking office or book online.
Came to visit this sanctuary as it was recommended by a website for ethical elephant sanctuary’s in Phuket. After feeding the elephant and doing a walk with them on the walk one of the guides started punching a young elephant, this happened quite a few times when he thought people weren’t watching. After I spoke to the photographer he said no he wasn’t punching the elephant but I could see he was. Left quickly after mentioning this to the lady on reception she was very apologetic & tried to say that doesn’t happen often and the guide wasn’t a regular but unfortunately I don’t find that a trustworthy statement as they kept another elephant tied up on a short rope in the feeding area. Would not recommend this place as I believe that this treatment is probably more common
