Chin, the owner and head coach, is probably the most welcoming person you will ever meet. The feeling at the gym is the best among the gyms I have visited (about 15). He lives at the camp with his family and they often host barbeque at the gym and spend time with the students outside training. All the other teachers are very friendly too. Chinnarch mostly host beginners or fighters with a few fights. Purely based on muay thai teaching I would give score 4 from a point of view of a bit more experienced student/fighter. For people relatively new with muay thai it is probably 5. And taking into account the special feeling I score it 5.
Chin, Billy and the other trainers put you through your paces in fantastic technical lessons and sessions. Chin is a former world champion, so you are truly learning from the best. Perfect for beginners to experts!
Best Training!Friendly People!Best Studio on phangan!Family training Group Training or private!Master Chin is the best Trainer i ever had!
Great day out, 100% would go again if in the area. Trainers are very friendly and fun to be around. Its not everyday you get to train with a 2 time world champion.
I visited Thailand a couple of weeks ago on a tour, and we had the choice to do Muay Thai or Yoga, and originally I was booked to do yoga but I changed it last minute to Muay Thai because a lot of people on my group were doing it and I can do yoga anywhere! was anxious at first but all staff were SO SO friendly and they made it so fun that I couldn’t believe how time flied during the session. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to look a little more into Muay Thai whilst they’re on there travels
I recommand mostly this muay Thai camp. The trainer are top and the training is completeA really good experience
Amazing Muay Thai boxing camp! Great atmosphere, they let you feel so welcome in the family. master Chin and his trainers are really the best proffesional trainers! learned so much in one week! I keep on booking extra nights haha. Stayed at the camp (basic hut) and rented their motorbike. We went to a fight in the stadium together. And.. the BBQ’s from Alex are the best!! Thank you for making my Thailand adventure much more special 😉 Greets Jessica from Holland
Just finished 5 weeks of training at Chinnarach. The training was really great, especially for a beginner like me! The atmosphere in the gym is very welcoming. Billie, the trainer that teaches the beginners, is continuously cracking jokes and seems to get honestly happy whenever you finally improve your technique -he will applaud this with a loud shout and big smile when doing pad work. After several training sessions, you go to the intermediate group. This is more serious, with Chin leading the class. You are pushed to continiously give as much power as possible. I learned a lot. Then lastly, the two other trainers, Billie and Dean are great guys! They are young, but very skilled. In addition, they were often joining us for food, beach and parties. We were a small family. All in all, the camp is great! You become part of the family and for beginners the training is really good. If you are more intermediate, you might need to ask for some extra sparring or more complicated techniques, as we often practice basic moves -which was great for my level.Lastly, the accomodation is great! It is run by a guy called Stephen, and he is truly a legend. He takes so good care of everybody, not only practically, but even emotionally if need be.
Went for my first training in Muay Thai yesterday, the trainer was so informative and patience with me since it is my first time. He taught me the warm up and also the rules in Muay Thai which is good to know. Also, he had shown me some Muay Thai moves which I am eager to continue learning it. Will be back on the next class. Great trainer and wonderful gym.
At this school me and my travel group learned the in’s and outs of Muay Thai Fighting. The lession is really funny and interesting, they are all having fun learning you
