  1. Phuket does Chinese influenced Disney event. In your face! OTT! lights, lights and more lights. Animation and hugely inspired by Disney Dreams, parade and characters (Candy the Elephant). Shopping for all things bling. Real animals (looked cared for) to see. The largest buffet dining overlooked by a huge peacock, and even the toilets are a spectacle. The show copies Bourne stunt show in Universal. Some elements of tradition in the content. Overall very in your face and an experience!

  2. A completely unforgettable experience! If we could rate this a 6/5 we would! Such a beautiful/stunning park. This felt like a fever dream. My wife and I highly recommend coming here for your anniversary and purchasing the Anniversary package….it was incredible and so worth it. They treated us like royalty. Our guide and personal photographer were so amazing, we can’t speak highly enough about them! They really went above and beyond for us and we’ll never forget it. The Birds of Paradise Buffet is the biggest and best buffet we’ve ever been to. So many amazing options. The games, parade, kingdom of lights, and the show were all out of this world. We were in complete awe the whole time, there’s so much to look at and experience. Thank you Carnival Magic!

  3. How do you even begin to describe this place? It is huge and surreal and full of wonder! As an adult it is absolutely jaw-dropping, I can only imagine how it would feel to visit as a child! Disneyland has nothing on this place! A huge carnival, lots of colours, lights, games and interactive experiences. The atmosphere is fun and dreamy! Some handy tips though – we organised a tour here from the hotel and paid for dinner and the show with an upgrade to Royal seats (transfers were included). Dinner was buffet style in the biggest dining area I have ever seen! Food was good but as with all buffets, far too much! The ‘show’ was not explained clearly at the hotel and ended up being a parade which is not what we expected. It was interesting to see the massive and detailed floats but a little boring after a while. Royal seats were not worth the extra cost as all seating is excellent. If I were to go back, I would organise a taxi myself and spend as long as I wanted exploring the grounds, before dinner. On a tour, everything is time restricted and the focus was on dinner and the show – not on free time which I wish we had more of when we visited. Lastly, the female toilets here are insane! You have to see it to believe it. This place is worth visiting, but not by tour.

  4. This is the Thailand version of Disneyland. This place is surreal and huge. The lights are so bright but they never blind me. I think I was able to heal my inner child. The main highlight for me is the parade. The overall show and the presentation was amazing. If you are planning to visit Thailand please do not miss this place. Also remember to book tickets in advance. It was truely a magical experience I had in my lifetime.

  5. It’s a decent place that everybody should go with their family and loved one perhaps , i wish they have a fireworks more frequent

  6. This was unexpectedly brilliant! When we arrived here we was low on bhat and the lady content desk let us pay with English which was great! Inside is so stunning!! My 11yo loved the show as did me and my partner, the lights were also magical – never been to anything like this before, like a Thai Disney land

  7. Horrendous…A sprawling monstrosity of concrete, colour and lights. Selling multiple plastic and polyester overpriced toys with a range of expensive ‘games’ to spend money on. Costumes are magnificent yet made of glitter, plastic jewels and non biodegradable materials. Every second in this place is contributing to ecological collapse and climate change. A sad animal zoo with caged animals enduring small enclosures. Yet Magnificent…. The show/parade was amazing and mind blowing in its production. Never seen anything quite so fabulous. The sets and costumes are astounding! If you care about the planet (and your wallet) don’t go. If you want an awesome Disney style show you will not be disappointed.

  8. I have to confess I saw this place on Instagram, and it looked like something I’ve never seen or done before, so we elected to check it out last night, not knowing what to expect. After conversion, we ended up paying $200 for 2 tickets, including dinner, a “Royal Tram” and a hotel pickup. After entering we made our way to the dinner buffet. Everything in this place was surely purposely designed to be over-the-top, massive and awe-inspiring. The room, which we joked reminded us of a Vegas Bingo Hall, for how massive it was, had a modest selection of foods…Thai of course, but also International, “Indian,” a tiny “salad bar,” 5-6 different kinds of soups , and for dessert, a selection of fruit and cakes. Food is subjective, and although we didn’t find any of it to be very good, rather bland, and almost “cruise ship buffet-like,” what concerned me most was the temperatures. Nearly everything we tried was cold or luke-warm at best…even the soups weren’t hot. It was surprising to me how despite the volume, nothing seemed fresh or warm. After a disappointing meal, we watched a fun parade that made me think fondly of Disney’s “Mainstreet Electrical Parade,” but then came a bit of boredom. You wait for the main show to open…are supposed to spend extra money on carnival games? There’s shopping if you want to spend more money…or a bizarre, almost sad petting zoo…and if you’re a child there’s maybe 2 rides you can go on, but that’s it. This was where they need to add something more thrilling or exciting to see and do…or at least include a few games with your admission. As adults, we were bored. Finally the show opens. Not to spoil the “magic” but it’s basically like watching another parade from comfortable stadium seats. After 15 minutes, although the floats are massive and fun to watch, we again were bored. No story or anything… Cirque du Soleil could do wonders here. After the show, the “tram” is a chauffeured golf cart ride through a massive light display…similar to those Christmas light drive-throughs. Like nearly everything here, it certainly will make your jaw drop. Overall, it’s still a fun, “one-and-done” night activity. The air conditioning worked great everywhere, and all of the bathrooms are truly something to experience. The entire park was incredibly clean, and the staff was kind.I (personally) would recommend skipping the buffet and perhaps trying their sit-down restaurant instead.

  9. Buffet food amazing selection The show is a parade you sit down and watch float after float pass though the stage for about 40 min I did try and doze off The floats are amazing must’ve cost millions to build didn’t see the same one twice all played to the same music ?Then you walk round a led encrusted garden after Ok to go with small kids take your wallet though everything costs !!!

  10. Visiting Carnival Magic in Phuket was an absolutely magical experience for our family, and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we entered, we were transported into a world of dazzling lights, vibrant colors, and festive energy. The attention to detail in every part of the park was incredible, making it feel like we had stepped into a grand Thai festival. The kids were mesmerized by the Carnival Fun Fair, where we enjoyed fun games, live performances, and beautifully designed shops filled with unique souvenirs. The highlight of the night was the River Palace Theater, where we witnessed the world’s largest indoor parade—a breathtaking show filled with larger-than-life floats, incredible costumes, and stunning special effects. The sheer scale of the production left us in awe, and we couldn’t stop cheering along with the crowd. Another unforgettable part of our visit was the Kingdom of Lights, where over 40 million LED lights created a mesmerizing dreamscape. Walking through the glowing gardens felt surreal, and the kids were absolutely enchanted by the sparkling displays. One of the things that made our visit even more enjoyable was how family-friendly and inclusive the park was. Finding Halal food can sometimes be a challenge when traveling, but the Bird of Paradise Buffet had an amazing selection of dishes, including **Halal
