僕が子供の時に病気になり右耳が悪いのでダイビングが出来ず、シュノーケリングをナンユーアン島やタオ島でしようと、日本から色々探してメールの対応の良かったこちらのツアーに参加いたしました。サムイに着いた日の夕方に事務所にお金を払いに行って、ユニークな女性に癒されました。さ～いよいよシュノーケリングの当日、私たち夫婦が泊っているCape Fahnに8：30amに昨日の女性がピックアップに来てくれてます。このDive Pointに決めた理由のもう一つはピックアップ時間の自由さです。他のツアーだと朝7時とか7時半とでしたが、好きな時間で良いよとのことでホテルでしっかり朝御飯の食べれる朝8時半ピックアップしていただきました。おそらくランチは抜きになるだろうし。。。PIAに着くと既に人でいっぱい?その人の間を縫ってExpress accessでごぼう抜きで一番前に?これが自由度のある朝のピックアップの正体でした(笑)我らのスピードボートは既に人で一杯で僕たちともう一組が最後でした。船ではメールのやり取りしていたFiさん（男の方だと思ってましたm(__)m）ことFionaさんと挨拶していよいよ出発です?スピードボートはダイビングとシュノーケリングの混載で船の屋根の中は密だったので2人は太陽が燦々と降り注ぐ外のエリアに陣取りました。これが後で悲惨なことに。約2時間弱でナンユーアン島に到着し、この旅行のハイライトになるはずである海に飛び込みシュノケル。。。しかし、水は濁っているし魚は少ないし、コーラルは枯れて真っ黒なのがいっぱいやし、マッシュルームみたいなコーラルだけがいっぱいであまり綺麗じゃないし、ガッカリ?もう帰りたいけど、団体行動なのでそれもできず。。。船の上に居ると皆さんが戻ってきて船で用意されたランチを頬張ってましたが。。。朝ちゃんと食べといで良かった✌暫くすると違うスポットへと。。。着いたのはシャーク・アイランド? ここは船の上から見ても綺麗☆気を取り直して飛び込むと先ほどとは全然違いとても綺麗っ?しかし、以前妻と行ったタイのシミラン諸島程ではありません。ま～折角来たんだしめいっぱい海を堪能しました。ここからまた1時間半ぐらい掛かってサムイ島へ?ず～っと日向に居たので普段焼けない足の甲と上太ももが真っ赤赤になってお風呂に入るのもままならないぐらい痛かったです?日本に帰ってからタイに住んでいるテニスの先輩に聞くとタイではシミラン諸島が一番きれいだと言うことでした。コロナの空白の3年間が有ってからの久しぶりの海外でしかも大好きな海、それなりに経験として良かったのかなと。Miss Fiona, thank you for your help.It was a good experience.Best regard.
Fiona and her team (especially Clive) made us feel right at home from the time we talked to them when we signed up for our advanced open water course. They kept us relaxed, eased our nerves, ans most importantly made us laugh. Thank you for letting us be a part of your dive family for the 2 days you needed to put up with us! DIVEPOINT SAMUI and the team is no doubt the best scuba xompany on Samui.
Great couple of days diving with Fiona at Sail Rock and Koh Tao. It was a last minute dive trip but Fiona was super communicative and helpful on WhatsApp and everything was sorted before I arrived in Koh Samui. Smooth pickups and well organised dive days and when my personal regulator had an issue Fiona was on hand with a spare so no interruptions to a great dive. Looking forward to visiting Koh Samui and diving with Dive Point again very soon.
We had the most amazing dive experience with Dave our instructor. He guided us through everything with such clear communication, plus he was absolutely hilarious! The rest of the instructors also were lovely and created a really nice atmosphere for the dives! For it being 2 of our first dives, they really put us at ease and make us feel extremely comfortable and safe. I would 100% come back to this dive centre again!
10/10 would recommend. For someone that was very nervous for my first dive, the team and our instructor Dave made us feel so comfortable and were so patient throughout the entire process. The experience wouldn’t have been the same without our instructor, and the whole team went above and beyond, with footage, home cooked food and great vibes all day. I had the most amazing day and would definitely return.
My husband and I had a great experience diving with Dive Point and Fiona in July. We booked our dives prior to arriving on the island and Fiona was very helpful and responsive on WhatsApp. She called me on the day we arrived to arrange the pick up and to discuss our requirements. We had a short briefing at the marina on the day of the dive with more discussion on the boat. Fiona was very patient before, during and after the dive, especially as I am a bit of a nervous diver. I also appreciated that it was a small dive group, only 3 divers and Fiona. A great experience overall and I would recommend Dive Point and Fiona.
After recently completing my Open Water Diver certification in Phuket, I was eager to further explore what the underwater world in Thailand had to offer – this time in Samui. I followed the recommendation from my previous dive instructor to book a dive tour with Dive Point, and I’m thrilled to say it was a fantastic experience.My dive trip to Angthong Marine Park with Fiona, the owner of Dive Point in Ko Samui, was nothing short of amazing. Fiona is not only an experienced and professional instructor but also a wonderful guide. She ensured that the dives were professional and safe, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. She never rushed through the dives, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the underwater beauty. I very much enjoyed my time diving there, and highly recommend diving with Fiona at Dive Point if you’re seeking a memorable dive adventure in Koh Samui. Thank you, Fiona! I will definitely return for more dives in the future.
Fiona runs an excellent dive operation. We were a family of 4 divers (inc 2 teenage sons) looking for a private trip to Chumphon Pinnacle and Sail Rock, which she organised swiftly and professionally. The speed boat was in good condition with a rack for tanks and we had 2 very enjoyable dives, although no whale sharks this time. The dive crew were very friendly and her equipment was in good condition with nicely full tanks. Fiona also is a great photographer and kindly took lots of pictures for us and sent to us later that evening, even taking the time to edit and enhance the quality! If you’re looking for a good scuba concierge in Koh Samui, look no further, we will definitely be back on our next visit.
Booked via Fiona and Dave took me and my son (10) out on a two dive beginner course. Well looked after, transfers all on time, Dave was great with Flynn helping him when needed. 100% recommend booking with Dive Point.
