I’m so happy i did this floating market vs the other one that all the tourists go to. We kicked things off at the temple where our tour guide, Fern, was able to explain the significance of Buddha, prayers, etc. after she took us around different stalls where we had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes. The food was so good, we even got pad Thai freshly made. I still think about it til this day. I loved the boat experience and we had the opportunity to stop by a local coffee shop to learn to make our own Thai tea. She took lots of photos throughout the experience and helps you to shop for whatever you want. Overall this was a great tour and I would do it again. Just note you will be on your feet for a few hours so bring comfortable shoes. If you ever get tired let her know so you can take breaks. Btw I went on a Sunday!!!
A really fantastic tour, with lots to eat and lots to see. Fern was a fabulous host and made sure we got photos of every wonderful moment! Take an extra bag to carry your shopping!
It’s quite an interesting tour. The Floating Market is quite small but we loved the information from TumTum. She is really fun to be with and also our teenager daughter wasn’t bored at all. Thank you!
We had a wonderful tour with Maggie. We met at Wat Saphan flower market and Maggie shared with us the history of the region and we learns about the temple and Buddhas. We toured and learned about the floating markets and had some snacks while we waiting for our long tail boat to arrive. Once we were on down the camels we went. Maggie shared so many details and history of the area stopping along the way hopping off the boat to tour small traditional areas munching along the way and even a stop at an orchid farm. But the big wow was our final stop for lunch at this enormous market full of amazing food. The sights and smells were amazing.We had the best time with Maggie and highly recommend it.
Paula’s tour was fantastic! The floating markets were a highlight, and exploring local temples and trying the food was a unique experience. I especially appreciated Paula’s generosity in treating us to some food and her patience in explaining the history and traditions. Highly recommended!
