  1. This is absolutely one of the memorable experiences you could ever do ! It’s a real retreat in the nature, an escape, a detox, a reconnection , a regeneration , an immersive experience of your body and mind with the surroundings.Spa policy phones not allowed and staff take your phone at the reception before you start this incredible journey. I was a bit disturbed about this cause I am always with my phone and I really wanted to take pics and videos , but then I realized how good was it and I appreciated and felt more the experience. I did the dreaming package, 1,5h steam and pool and 2.5h treatment, it was amazing!! Therapist very good and she really helped my body to regenerate. They served also an healthy light meal , I really liked it! If you forget your swimming suit they anyway give you a Thai sari you can use during the steam . The steam are literally caves in the rocks , and the pool natural water pool in the rocks , it’s amazing ! There are 3 areas of steam and pool , in one area there are also natural scrubs that you can use before going into the caverns , I loved it ! I really recommend , and I will definitely come back !

  2. This was a hidden gem away from the tourist crowds. The grounds are beautifully tucked away amongst a rock bed and it is wonderfully designed how the pools are integrated into the surrounding rock. A true oasis! Staff were just lovely and you can take your time after your massage trying the pools and saunas. The lunch was also delicious. Totally worth it if you are looking for a unique spa time.

  3. This is the best massage experience we ever had. We are a honeymoon couple who came to relax and took the 2.5 hours massage package. The facilities were incredible, we even received a vegetarian lunch and snacks before our massage. The massage itself was indescribable. The absolute best massage I have ever gotten, ever! This experience is a bit pricey but its totally worth it. Make sure to go on a day that is not too hot as the massage is under a bungalo outside. We went on a slightly rainy day and it was perfect. Can’t wait to come back again!

  4. TOURIST TRAP!!!!Please don’t waste your time and money visiting this spa-it’s just over-hyped. My family and I arrived with high hopes and promises of a deeply relaxing time. However we were heavily disappointed as the quality of the traditional Thai massage turned out to be heinously bad. Though the rooms were beautiful, the massage therapist failed to follow my request to increase the pressure of the massage. I had also asked to focus more on my shoulders but that was not done either. Throughout the 2 hour massage, she rang some weird gong on and off which reverberated in my ears and shocked me awake from what should have been a relaxing rub down. On top of that, the rooms were pretty hot which made us clammy and added to our growing list of complains. My dad was lucky enough to escape to our hotel before he got too deep in the torture! Do not be fooled by this spas luxurious look and well manicured grounds as the actual massage was too terrible for words-it did not release any tension whatsoever and all of us couldn’t wait for it to end!

  5. The concept is nice but grounds are not well maintained for the price. They charge 5* hotel prices yet the changing rooms and overall experience feels a bit gimmicky and cheap (eg you only get one set of towel). Whats worse is that the massage itself was pretty terrible. Started with a hot pouch massage which was so bad I switched to a thai massage but she kept massaging my bones at which point i switched to oil. I could not wait for massage to end. Not worth the hype. For this price get a massage at six senses or four seasons

  6. We cannot say enough great thing about Tamarind Springs. My husband and I started our honeymoon with a special treatment there, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. They thought about everything. The grounds were amazing and the people were so friendly. The massage was wonderful and the natural pools and saunas were everything we had hoped for in the experience.

  7. I did the ‘Steam and Dream’ which doesn’t come with massage. I’m just totally curious about the plunge pools within the forest and giant rocks. The experience was great, scenery as well, just like the photos showed. I was worried it may be crowded since this package has no time limit, meaning one can stay as long as one wants. Maybe I was lucky but there wasn’t many people, I went in the late afternoon. What made this experience very beautiful too were the fact that there were many birds and butterflies (bugs and insects as well but I enjoy all as it’s part of nature). At one of the plunge pool, maybe it was the birds’ wash up time as well, we soaked in the pool together with the birds soaking at the top where the spring water flowed down. It was a surreal 15 min.The last than perfect score was because of the cost. I didn’t want to do this initially when I realized the package doesn’t include massage yet this was the cost. Even if one could stay without time limit, this is still quite expensive unless one stay really long? However I’ve to admit the place is very well taken care of and maintained its natural way.

  8. The setting is great. Massage in open air, private and excellent quality. The steam rooms are very authentic and also very nice with a plunge pool nearby.

  9. The highlight of our trip to Ko Samui was going to be the day tour of Marine Park but sadly it was cancelled due to the weather conditions. To fill up a day, we booked a 4 hour package of spa and massage, 1.5 hrs steam sauna and pool plus 2.5 hrs massage called Twice as nice Prakop which they applied steamed Thai herb cloth. It was the most beautiful massage experience ever in my life! My masseuse touch was so tender and thorough, the setting so beautiful surrounded by the nature of the forest and water. This turned out to be the unforgettable experience of Ko Samui. Highly recommended!

  10. I spent a beautiful morning here, it was one of the highlights of my trip. The staff were lovely and considerate; I didn’t have a swimsuit so they lent me a sarong to use as well as a spare to change into. The 1hr massage was amazing (it was more a Swedish massage than a Thai massage, which I enjoyed). They used a Tibetan sound bowl which was a nice novelty. The springs are not “hot springs” but cool pools with waterfalls, still enjoyable after the hot sauna (but it isn’t a cold plunge in the traditional sense). There were snacks served and some scented scrubs to choose from. The atmosphere was natural, quiet and calm, maybe it was the day but most times I was the only person in a section. Would highly recommend this place to everyone!

  11. Tamarind Springs Spa offers a stunning natural setting, with incredible steam rooms and serene natural pools that make for a truly relaxing experience. The peaceful surroundings and beautifully designed space create an atmosphere of pure tranquility, making it an ideal place to unwind. However, where Tamarind Springs falls short is in customer service. After experiencing the exceptional hospitality at Eranda Herbal Spa, the difference was noticeable. The staff here seemed indifferent and disengaged, lacking the warmth and attentiveness that truly elevate a luxury spa experience. There was very little effort to make guests feel welcomed or valued, and communication was minimal. While the facilities themselves are undeniably beautiful, the guest experience feels impersonal. For those looking for a self-guided relaxation experience, Tamarind Springs may still be a good choice. But for anyone seeking a five-star, attentive service experience, Eranda Herbal Spa far surpasses it in terms of hospitality, making guests feel truly appreciated. If Tamarind Springs were to improve their customer service approach, it could easily become one of the best spa experiences in Koh Samui. Until then, it remains a great place for its natural pools and steam rooms, but not for the level of service one would expect at a high-end spa.
