Silent Divers is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 39/8 Moo 3, Chaweng , 84320, Thailand
The dive shop was professional and efficient, and they communicated everything well. The equipments were serviceable and the dive masters were knowledgeable. Lunch was passable since we were not there for the food. Silent divers appears to be one of the larger players, as we saw divers from other dive shops being sub-contracted to them. Always good to book directly with the main shop.
My daughter and I had a great experience with Silent divers. We both did the Open Water Certification. I can highly recommend this place:)
We chartered Kraken for two days of diving and Eli was our guide. This was our first time booking a private charter and it was blissful. Eli was warm, professional, communicative and a great host. She worked hard to give us a curated experience. We wanted feedback on our diving and we wanted to see the great dive sights. She delivered and also captured great footage of us together underwater which we never get as one of us is always behind the camera. The boat crew were great too – an experienced and professional captain and a boat hand who helped us in and out of the water and served a delicious lunch. A professional and high quality dive centre. And Eli comes very highly recommended as a guide.
I brought my daughter for her 12th birthday , it was her first dive and she was very nervous. Gustavo was absolutely amazing with us both, we felt at ease in the water in no time. He explained everything clearly and has a great sense of humour. The whole experience from booking to leaving the boat was amazing. I can’t applaud the staff enough. Marta captured some beautiful videos and photos also. Great team I’d highly recommend 👌
This was my first time diving with Silent Divers. I chose them to complete a Nitrox diving course, and chose them as my diving centre for both the e-Learning and practical diving parts of the course (was given a rebate for doing this). The course registration went very smoothly. I was picked up at my hotel and taken to the harbour for a briefing on the day’s expected events. I was in a small group of three (me, Sam who was taking his AOW and Nitrox course, and Eli our Instructor), which made it easy to ask questions and be included in all conversations. Eli, my instructor, was great. Very knowledgeable and very willing to share insights and provide advice. She obviously loves what she does and both challenged and helped me during the course (which I passed! : ) I look forward to diving with Eli and Silent Divers again.
We had an amazing time doing a discover scuba diving tour with Silent Divers. Our instructor, Gustavo, was amazing all the way through. He thoroughly instructed us on how to dive, signals to look for and he was very tentative on both our dives. When we arrived back to Koh Samui, Gustavo also gave us some good points he observed through our dives.I would highly recommend using Silent Divers, and when we come back to Koh Samui one day, we will definitely use this company again.
Amazing experience! I booked my partner and three children (12, 14 and 15) to do Padi Open Water while on holiday in Koh Samui. They were looked after superbly by Baz (Barry) and Paul. They went out of their way to make everyone feel safe and enjoy a great experience, being very patient, calm, friendly and knowledgable. Baz went out of his way to help when my youngest’s equipment was too big, going in his own time to the dive shop to ensure she had smaller equipment prior to her first sea dive the next day. They were all left wanting more, with no more anxiety about diving, which is perfect. Thank you so much to Baz, Paul and the very helpful boat crew, I highly recommend Silent Divers.
I completed my PADI Open Water Diver course with Silent Divers while on my honeymoon with my wife. Due to a previous cancelled trip (booked for April 2020…) I already had my own PADI elearning login, and the Silent Divers team were happy to accept this and adjust their price accordingly. My wife had already completed her full OWD, and the Silent Divers team were amazing in accommodating her. She was able to join me for all of my open water dives, for the price of their normal fun dives to those locations. My instructor, Laurens, was amazing. Patient, friendly, great sense of humour and a really good teacher. His coaching throughout the course helped me become more and more confident and comfortable in the water, resulting in a huge reduction in my air usage!The dive sites we visited were Koh Tao (Aow Leuk Bay and Shark Island) and Sail Rock. We were lucky with weather and conditions and got to see incredible amounts of marine life including schools of barracuda, grouper, amazing coral shelves, even eels playing with other fish in a symbiotic dance. Once back to the surface Laurens explained what we had seen, helped us identify them and could tell us everything we could have wanted to know. Overall, I had a great time and gained my qualification. I had fun doing it, and I’ll definitely be back for more diving soon!
Great couple of dives at sail rock with dive master Daniel and RicardoWell organised and awesome day trip with lunch highly recommend anyone visiting whether new to the Padi adventure or experienced.
Booked this for two of us but on the morning my wife changed her mind. The staff were excellent in organising her return to the hotel, waiting at the office until transport arrived and even refunded the majority of the fee.The boat trip was predominantly scuba divers (who all seemed to have had a good experience) with just three of us for snorkeling. We did get our own guide for the period in the water who was great in pointing out fish and other objects of interest. But I felt that location was chosen primarily for the scuba divers rather than snorkeling. Having said that the underwater life at the first spot was excellent, the second spot off the beach was just so-so.
