My husband and I had an incredible experience with this tailor shop. First of all, Harry listened to us and found the best solution for our needs. Their customer service was impeccable! They came up with their best recommendation for my husband ~ a black suit that is versatile and can easily be used as a tuxedo by just the addition of a shirt and bow tie, etc. – the fitting was very well done. Chris went out of his way meeting us at our hotel for the final fitting. Thank you Chris for your professionalism and to the owner/manager who was so helpful and kind. This is the destination that we were looking for, they supplied both of us with made-to-measure suits in 180 Count wool and Cashmere mix and Shirts. All products are made to our satisfaction. I have over 20 years of experience in the textile industry we have no hesitation in recommending this store to anyone who is looking for quality, fashion, color, and style at the right price. We were assisted by Arun, who is a willing worker with ample experience and knowledge in textiles. He recommended and supplied us with what we were looking for.
I’ve made a lot of suits over the years in HK and can tell when a tailor knows what they are doing. Likewise you need to give them time and do two fittings. They make the process enjoyable and I look forward to seeing them again.
You will be treated like royalty with private car services from hotel or wherever you are.On arrival, you will be greeted by a very friendly and experienced “style advisor” who will praise you to the sky, offers you the “highest quality” cloths, with “special price only for you”. After finding out what you are looking for, he will tantalise you to make more than what you have in mind. Before long, you will likely part with thousands of dollars with a suit or 2 and more shirts than you intended to make. Completed clothes are delivered personally to your hotel. Tailor will also ensure that clothes fit before signing off. The clothes fit ok but not necessarily outstanding. Even as you negotiate, keep your mind clear and hands firmly on your wallet.
We were recommended Peninsula Tailors by the hotel Concierge.Prior to our arrival we emailed back and forth which was always prompt and professional.Upon our arrival to BKK they collected us from the hotel and from the moment we walked into their shop we felt warmly greeted and were genuinely treated with care and respect.They have a vast range of fabrics to suit everyones budget. We opted for premium Italian cashmere wool.We ended up purchasing 3 x suits with additional pants and 5 x shirts.The process was very professional and organised with one initial fitting in store followed by three additional in our hotel room.Overall a very pleasant experience and quality tailoring.They further gifted us 5 ties, cufflinks and a scarf for my wife.Thank you team in particular Krish.We would highly recommend Peninsula Tailors to anyone visiting Bangkok.
