Er befindet sich in der Mangkon Road, Samphanthawong Sub-District, Samphanthawong District und ist ein weiterer thailändischer Tempel in Bangkoks Chinatown in der Nähe des Wat Traimit. Der Eingang des Tempels in der Charoen Krung Road befindet sich gegenüber dem wunderschönen chinesischen Tempel Wat Mangkon Kamalawat. Es ist der Tempel der Dhammayuttika Nikaya-Sekte des Buddhismus. Auf dem Tempeltor sieht man eine Replik von Dhamek Stupa im Sri-Lanka-Stil und einen Stuck von Lord Buddha und seinen Gottheiten.Der Tempel stammt aus der Zeit des Königs Mongkut (Rama IV).Frau Kleap Sakhonwasi errichtete diesen Tempel zu Ehren des Buddhismus. Der Na Bang (Giebel) ist ein Stuck im Muster von Reisbällchen in Form einer Lotusknospe, bedeckt mit Blattgold und verziert mit farbigen Glassplittern. Die Säulen des Palai (Veranda) haben eine viereckige Form und die Sockel der Säulen und des Bodens sind aus Marmor. Die gewölbten Türen und Fenster sind mit Stuck in floralen Mustern mit Blattgold überzogen. Im Inneren des Ubosot befinden sich Wandgemälde an der Wand zwischen den Fenstern, die die Geschichte von Lord Buddhas Leben darstellen. Die Basis von Butsabok ist mit Figuren verschiedener Thep Phanom (der Gottheit, die die Hände als Zeichen der Verehrung verschränkt) verziert.Zu den Höhepunkten dieses Tempels zählen die sehr schönen und aussagekräftigen Gemälde an den Innenwänden des Tempels, die verschiedene Szenen des Lebens von Lord Buddha zeigen. Viele goldene Buddhas sind in Nischen in der Wand zu sehen – und schön dekoriert. In Thailand gibt es nur zwei Stupas dieser Art (Wat Sommanat Wihan in der Gegend von Nang Loeng). Der Stuck des Tempeltors ist mit Blumen- und Gottheitenmustern verziert. Il tempio è un piccolo tempio civile thailandese a Bangkok, situato nella zona di Chinatown. Il tempio risale al regno del re Mongkut (Rama IV). Il tempio fu completato nel 1864.
