A remarkable Bavarian style yellow building is a local museum that collects many traditional fabrics called “Teen jok” from different communities in Thailand, especially from Long district. Mr. Komol, the owner who has a deep passion for Thai antique textile, warmly welcomed us. He took us a private tour around his place and gave us a lot of interesting informations, such as how to preserve the antique textiles by relying on the wisdom of the ancient people (since some pieces are over 200 years old). The section I like most is many barbie dolls dress in these local Thai clothes ; Lovely. The last section is the shop selling old-designed Teen jok, old textiles made a new, as well as modern clothes and products made from textiles. Worth a visit. Recommend.
