ยังไม่เคยไปนะคะ กำลังมองหาข้อมูลว่าจะไปเที่ยวเพราะมันเป็นเส้นทางที่เราเดินทางกลับไปบ้านที่ต่างจังหวัดได้อ่านข้อมูลจากเว็บของการท่องเที่ยวว่าเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวหนึ่งในอุทยานแห่งชาติดอยหลวงซึ่งได้รับการประกาศให้เป็นอุทยานแห่งชาติ เมื่อวันที่ ๑๖ เมษายน พ.ศ.๒๕๓๓ ครอบคลุมพื้นที่บางส่วนของจังหวัดพะเยา เชียงรายและลำปาง รวมเนื้อที่ประมาณ ๑,๑๗๐ ตารางกิโลเมตร สภาพภูมิประเทศเป็นเขาสูงทอดตัวแนวเหนือ-ใต้ มีดอยหลวงเป็นยอดเขาที่สูงที่สุด ประกอบด้วยป่าเบญจพรรณ ป่าดิบชื้นและป่าเต็งรังปะปนกัน มีสัตว์ป่าและนกหลายชนิด ที่ทำการอุทยานฯ ตั้งอยู่ที่บริเวณน้ำตกวังแก้ว สามารถกางเต็นท์ได้แต่ต้องเตรียมเสบียงไปเอง การเดินทาง จากอำเภอเมืองลำปางใช้ถนนสายลำปาง-แจ้ห่ม-วังเหนือ ไปประมาณ 110 กิโลเมตร เลี้ยวขวาที่อำเภอวังเหนือเข้าทางหลวงหมายเลข 120 สายวังเหนือ-พะเยา แล้วเลี้ยวซ้ายเข้าสู่ทางหลวงหมายเลข 1303 ไปประมาณ 25 กิโลเมตร ถึงน้ำตกถนนเป็นทางลาดยางตลอดสาย ส่วนทางเข้าน้ำตกวังทอง ใช้ทางเข้าจากปากทางใหญ่ที่จะมาน้ำตกวังแก้ว แต่ถึงก่อนน้ำตกวังแก้วประมาณ 9 กิโลเมตร แต่เส้นทางที่เข้าไปค่อนข้างลำบาก เพราะเป็นถนนลูกรังหากเดินทางโดยรถประจำทางสามารถนั่งรถสองแถวสีฟ้าสายลำปาง-วังเหนือ มาลงหน้าที่ว่าการอำเภอ จากนั้นต้องนั่งรถต่อเข้าไปยังน้ำตก
เป็นน้ำตกที่มีขนาดไม่ใหญ่และไม่เล็กมาก สวยดี เดินไม่ลำบากเท่าไรไม่ไกล น้ำเยอะ แต่ไม่สูงมากนัก สวยงามดี
