  1. Very quiet, very peaceful, and the temple grounds are spread out over a huge area. There is the chedi, and there is a little lake. And there is a very old open hall that has a couple of old Buddha images inside. And of course a huge reclining Buddha in an open field. As the surrounding is forrested area, expect some insects and many huge ants running around.

  2. From Phu Khiao use road 2055. Spend one hour in this area. Continue to nam phod (Huei Yang) for a swim or/and lunch. A warm water spring. Follow blue labels (can be difficult to find on maps). Chulabhorn Dam Public Park can be included in the trip if you have time!
