The Verona At Tub Lan is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 251 Moo 6, 25220, Thailand
The Verona Tub Lan wasn’t on my list of holiday destination early this year but was merely a spur of the moment while traveling along this place on my way to ChokChai Farm along Pak Chong route. What fascinated me at first sight was the architectural buildings of this place. It actually looked like the Verona of Italy with its colorful wallpaintings – bright hues coupled with lush flora and fauna that makes you wonder for more. The environment was fresh and cool cause it was close by to mountains setting. Rooms are widely spread out so you won’t feel claustrophobic. Each rooms has a pleasant view and kept clean and tidy. As you go for a short walk, you will explore a variety of theme park venues similar to a western “Cowboy” era with saloon and American Indian huts surrounding the area. There are horses kept in their stables while you can hire bicycles or ride 3 motorized wheelers to scout the park. These IndianPaw huts are actually guests rooms that caters for those adventurous vacationers. No doubt there’s no special activities, I reckon it’s nice for photo opportunities. Plenty of shops – some not in operation while those fully functional ones include souvenir shops and snack bars and probably four or five restaurants for you to dine. There’s no pool unfortunately. Overall, it was a satisfying experience as I don’t have to travel far to actually feel the western Verona. Simply picturesque view of Mother Nature, peaceful and great for family bonding. Remember this is not any five-star Hilton establishment but simply a place to get away from any hustle and bustle way of life. Best time to visit will definitely be the cool season of November and December.
Nice fast check in, the room was as expected. Very clean, decent bed, spacious with a good shower. Interesting resort or whatever you want to call it, if you are in the area and are looking for reasonably priced decent accommodation give this place a go.
We drove around 98kms for around 1hr 40mins from atta Lakeside Resort Suite, (อัตตา เลคไซด์ รีสอร์ท สวีท) 1/3 Moo 6 Thanarat Road Moo-Si Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima 30130 to Verona @ Tub Lan only to be disappointed as the place was deserted as it was low season due to the high April temperatures although most shops were open. Shop attendants advised that peak season is usually from November to January. Our children did not get their gondola ride as the boats were out of the water. We did get a decent yet scrumptious Thai lunch at Tum Yum Zaap as the Japanese restaurant was closed. But we had lots of photo opportunities with the credible look-alike Italian architecture.
Stayed in this Hotel and was good for what I needed. It will suit people who like activities and are looking for adventure. Not much else around you, unless your willing to drive.
Visited the place last week on 3Nov in morning. Nice view , take lots photo at front area. The compound of this hotel is very big, but seems like certain area no well maintain.
It’s a beautiful town that is a good place for taking a picture. The room is ok, clean, good ac and helpful housekeeping. The Blackwood restaurant is nice. Breakfast is good. It opens till 10 am. There are salad zone, American breakfast zone, Thai food and beverage Conner. However, the juices are too sweet and service could be improved. The food runs out without notice by the staff. The buffet line isn’t frequently checked. The staff could be more friendly with a smile sometimes. After we check out and on the way to the car park, we ask the tram driver sending us inside where the ATV and hotel farm. He denied to send us by telling that he have to pickup many guests inside and it’s for hotel’s guests only. That’s really disappointed. We can’t go there and we are not hotel’s guests cause we already check out? It’s a nice place though, but the service needs to be considered . Anyway we will not book there again.
You may found many outdoor activity on this place. perfect place to spend weekend with your family to create bonding between them.
If you pass it or are close by have a look, its worth a visit, but not in such extend to make a detour.
Another Italy wannabe complex around Khaoyai, not even half successful as two others. We visited on Friday afternoon and place was totally void of people and pretty much most venues were closed down. Most interesting part was a copy of small Wild West town, otherwise nothing to see and do.
The place is an imitation of “Verona”, a romantic town in Italy where the famous legend “Romeo and Juliet” took place. With 50 baht entrance fee (for visitor who is not a guest of the hotel), ones can take a trolley tour around the place. Our first stop was an open-air colorful garden with a chic cafe where we had some drinks and desserts and enjoyed a nice mountainous view. The next stop was Cowboy town. There are many adventure activities in this zone (e.g. horse riding, ATV car, zipline, rock climbing, etc.) Also, you can feed goats, sheep, and horses at Verona farm. The last stop was their signature Italian (Verona) zone. The ambience and architecture is totally Italian, whether it be a remarkable medieval bridge across the lake, a medieval tower, a clock tower, Juliet’s house, a town square with cutie souvenir shops and community mall (pity that all shops and mall were close at the time we visited due to Covid pandemic). So many good spots to take photos ! We also did a gondola cruise on the lake. Finally, we had a dinner at Blackwood restaurant (inside the place) which provided delicious Thai and Italian food.Highly recommend !
