  1. As the other review says the cave is a little difficult to find as its not on Google Maps, however we managed to get there from Surat Thani city in a little under an hour by scooter. There was only one other group of Thai tourists there when we visited, the place doesn’t seem like it sees many foreigners visiting. The fee is 200 baht per adult (less for children) and pays for the guide who will show you around the cave and point out all the interesting formations (there’s heaps). Our guide spoke okay English and was able to communicate most of the tour for us. We spent about an hour here, the cave is big and there’s a bit of walking and can be muddy at points so I’d recommend wearing sturdy closed footwear. Overall very interesting and would recommend for anyone staying in Surat Thani to visit. Also apparently nearby some waterfalls and the national park however we didn’t get a chance to visit them.

  2. We camped at Tai Rom Yen by the 8 tier waterfall, and motorbiked to the cave, the park entrance is 200thb per person per day. There were no other people visiting whilst we were there, a tour guide took us in to the cave which was discovered 21 years ago, and helped us to dodge the spiders, snakes and bats! Well worth a look if you are in the area.
