  1. if you want to visit the jungle this is a nice place to do so. A walk down the mountain to the big tree. You need a good condition.

  2. 1) Not far from Tak city. IT takes about 20minutes from the sity center by car. 2) the accommodations in the park is not bad but too old. 3) it,s hard to clime the 2n and more higher water fall. 4) There is a good nature zaguchi just below the first water fall (very good for one couple or one family only = small ). 5) public transportation can’t reach there.

  3. This national park is found about 3 kms off the main highway from Muaeng Tak. I took the van heading to Maesot for 73 Baht and told the driver to drop me by the park’s entrance. Like all parks, there’s an entrance fee. It costs more for foreigners. Luckily, I didn’t pay. You can set up your tent or rent or rent a room for 16USD for your group. There’s a convenience store and restaurants as well. There’s a dirt road for biking enthusiasts. There’s a chance you’ll take a dip in the pools or fancy a walk on a trail so take some sunscreen and mosquito repellent.

  4. Beautiful waterfall, clean, cold and clear water. They don’t allow alcohol drinks to be taken and they don’t provide any trash cans which work very well to keep the park clean. You can get the garbage bag at the ticket counter to put you garbage in and take it out yourself. You can bring your car in. They also provide places to stay over night. Tents are also allowed.

  5. Nice park with cool waterfalls. 200 baht are quite a price for a single entry bit it’s a cool place where you can spend at least half a day. And big plus point, when we where there there hadn’t been other tourists at all.

  6. Lan Sang National Park is located adjacent to the Taksin Maharat National Park (actually, I’m not sure why they don’t consolidate them into one). The park has some well-forested mountains and a nice waterfall. But, it’s clearly not on the “A” list of Thailand’s national parks.

  7. This national park is located about 15 kilometers west along National Highway 12 from downtown Turk towards Mae Sot. Since its opening in 1979, the park has a relatively long history as a national park in Thailand, with a total area of 104 square kilometers and is covered with forests (mostly bamboo near waterfalls and mountain streams) unique to northern Thailand. Rangsang Falls, which flows over four levels with a height of as much as 40 meters between rocky mountains, is also known as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. Cafeterias and camping facilities are located around the administrative offices.
