We often visit here as my wife is a local. It’s a place we come for a family picnic. Local knowledge gets us here, I would suggest that I would find it almost impossible to find without local help. It is nice and quiet, with nice views around the dam, but probably not worth going out of your way to find it. There are no vendors anywhere near, so you need to load the car up with everything you need. As I said, we go because it’s on the doorstep and is a traditional family favourite, especially to view the sunsets.
