  1. I had 2 days in the place to enjoy wonderful Wat Pak and I took a lot of amazing pictures. I hope that I can visit the place one more time

  2. This is the temple where “Luang Pu Sook”, the noble monk of Chainat, used to be an abbot. He is famous for his great ability in white magic (check out many legends with your guide) and earns highly respect from Buddhists all over Thailand. His name also appears in Chinat provincial slogan. After our boat arrived at the port, we walked into the temple to worship Luang Pu Sook and make some donations. Then, our guide told us to walk clockwise 3 times under a platform carrying a wax model of meditating Luang Pu Sook for auspiciousness and ward off all bad lucks. We also bought a little Luang Pu Sook model (as amulet).

  3. This Buddhist temple is located along the Tha Chin River in the downtown area of Wat Sin district, Chainat province. It is said to have been founded in 2432 B.E. (1889 A.D.), and across the road from the main hall is a Buddhist altar facing the Tha Chin River. It is one of the most important Buddhist temples in Wat Sin district, and on weekends the vast grounds are transformed into a periodic market, which is very lively. The local road (National Highway 4023) that runs from this temple to downtown Chainat is attractive for its idyllic scenery, interwoven with the Chao Phraya River and small rocky mountains.
