  1. Be prepared for a steep but thankfully short climb to see this amazing temple in a mountainside cave. Stunning

  2. Walk vs taking the boat (cost 200bhat each one way). That way u save money and get to see views of the coast that you wouldn’t get if you boat.Best time to reach at 10am for optimum time for sun rays.

  3. This climb is unique, with 100 steps. The hanging stalactites and the fantastic view from the topmost cave. The climb in all sectors is definitely worth it.

  4. Another interesting place in Phang Nha Province. A complex of caves adapted by Buddhist monks into a temple and a place of meditation. The caves (Dragon Caves) are located away from tourist trails, practically in the jungle. To get to the caves, you need to climb the stairs, there are about 250 of them. The steps at first are not high, but in the caves they are more like stairs. We enter the caves and temples themselves without shoes and in appropriate clothing. A very quiet place, ideal for meditation, with beautiful views.

  5. This is a tucked away temple complex, and it’s well worth a visit. If you’re going on your own it’s not easy to find, but the drive there is sensational.
