  1. can call this all-in-one temple. nice view for photo shooting, coffee shop, beautiful ubosot (temple) and located next to the monk college

  2. I had a short visit to Wat Phuket on the way to Doi Pu Ka. The view from the terrace of the temple is very nice overlooking down to the paddy field. Some local shop along the road at the entrance if you’d like to try some local snacks and craft clothing.

  3. A bit far from the center of pua but worth a stop to enjoy greenish view of rice field. If you don’t have a cer, take a motobike taxi.

  4. At Phuket temple in Pua district, Nan province, Thailand had a good view. The words Phu of this temple it means mountain from local language and the word Ket that’s mean name of local community in there. Had a lot of feeling such as clam and Sounds of folk instruments by local people. 🌳🌳🌳🏆

  5. Located close to the Ban Thai Lue cafe, this temple shouldn’t be missed. It’s easy accessible when going from Pua to Phayao or vice-versa (I stopped here on my way to Pulangka) . The temple itself is nothing out of the ordinary but the scenery around is beautiful with lush fields and the mountain backdrop. There are a few dining options at the foot of the temple if you want a bite to eat, although I haven’t tried any of those. Closeby you will also find Wat Phra That Beng Sakat, which doesn’t offer views as nice as Wat Phuket but worth stopping if you pass by anyway.

  6. I have visited at Maikhao Temple on October 18, 2020 to make merit, Thai people call Tod Ka-Tin we will give Ji-von to the monk.Ji-von is yellow fabric for the monk to wear.Money donation once a year by Thai people for the monk.We do share the food for everyone who visit at the temple for free on that day. Around 1-5 long tent for free and good quailty food to sharing mostly local dish which is yummy taste.Good for mind meditation, natural, art, dog, and very good for family trip lover. Recommended place for calm and peaceful mind.

  7. Temple is on a hill. You can enjoy rice field view with a big mountain in background. It should be best view in autumn (Jul-Oct). Anyway, a lot people there.

  8. The Lanna style temple is on the hill. After worship “Luang Por Saen Pua” in a main hall, ones can walk to a viewpoint behind the hall to enjoy a panorama view of the rice field with mountainous background. Moreover, by walking downhill from the temple, there is a walking street where you can buy many foods/drinks/souvenirs or chill out at the cafe in the midst of the rice field. We also saw the process of making “Kalamae” (Thai sweet = caramelized sticky rice with coconut milk) and, of course, bought them (Very delicious ; don’t forget to taste Tai Lue recipe Kalamae). Additionally, there were some live performances such as traditional music and traditional dance. Awesome !

  9. The wat itself was really nice, but my favorite part was looking down and seeing the rice fields. It was a stunning view! Some of my family went down to walk near the fields (but I stayed to enjoy the view and avoid the mud).
