วัดบางนราเป็นวัดที่ตั้งอยู่ใจกลางเมืองนราธิวาส สามารถเห็นได้เด่นชัดจากเจดีย์องค์ใหญ่สีเหลืองทองตั้งเด่นเป็นสง่า ภายในเจดีย์เป็นที่บรรจุอัฐิเถ้ากระดูกของผู้ที่สิ้นลมหายใจแล้ว ภายในวัดยังมีโบสถ์เก่าแก่ซึ่งเป็นศิลปะของทางภาคใต้ นอกจากนี้บริเวณวัดยังเป็นทางผ่านไปสู้อุทยานพระพิฆเนศและเจ้าเจ้าแม่โก้วเล้งจี่ได้อีกด้วย
