Si Sa Ket Aquarium is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Amphoe Mueang, Thailand
It is worth a quick visit. You can fit it in while waiting for your train or bus. Very clean. Very good. It also had a tunnel you can walk through. Kids will love it
Was quietly impressed with sisaket aquarium. I hadn’t expected much to be honest but I was wrong. Happy I came to visit. Good value for the money it cost for a ticket.
Át first a good Institution without Race Tarifes not like a lot of other places in Thayland also they have a lot of Beauty fishes and all Looks well handeld i like the place
It’s well kept with some interesting unusual and common species on display. Entrance fee was very low ( no dual pricing) making it good value for a day out with the kids.Easy to find with plenty of free parking in the grounds.
The SiSaKet Aquarium is a wonderful place to visit, the setting is lovely & it’s a great building. As you walk up to the front entrance you must take a look at the Koi Carp (goldfish) in the outside ponds, some are huge. The cost for entry is 20b for children, & 30b for Adults (very cheap) and even though it’s not the largest Aquarium you have ever been to it is still a wonderful place to go. They have many Large & small tanks filled with many different varieties of fish, there is a wonderful walk thru glass tank filled with huge fish down to tiny fish, Sharks, Stingrays, even Nemo is there. Snapping Turtles and a long nosed Turtle. The Kids & Adults will enjoy looking at the displays, you can take photos (but No Flash please) There is an area sell Souvenirs inside just before th exit. Outside Kiosk & Venders sell drinks, fruit, ice creams & hot food, and the lovely gardens & trees make a wonderful place to relax while the kids play in the Great Adventure Playground.
It’s amazing because in one city of area Thailand that they Have small aquarium ! The view is beautiful. The fish are various but the water is look not really fresh in some pool ! The tickets is not expensive, around $1 ! After I visited there, I went to the tall building but I don’t remember name .. it’s beautiful with top view that you can see all view and lake of Sisaket ! Good to visit 🙂
It is my first time go to Sisaket with my family. My son and my daughter, they are so enjoyed the Si Sa Ket Aquarium and we spent time seeing fish and see the view of Si Sa Ket from the tower. We come back to this place fore sure.
We took my 3 year nephew and he really enjoyed it. It is smaller than the ones we have visited in the US (Atlanta) and even the one in Bangkok. For some who has never been to an aquarium and wants to see different species and sizes of fish it is worth a visit. I believe the admission fee is 40 baht per person and little ones are free. There is a small pond in front of the aquarium where you can buy some fish food and feed the fish. I believe there was a small play ground as well. There is a small store at the exit and a place to by snacks outside.
Some tanks are a bit small for lots of fishThe tunnel one need a bit of maintenance I would say it does look a bit glitzy. But all okAnd cheap .maybe should put price up a bit so can take care of it a bit more.
Around 50 bhat to enter so i was not expeting a lot,and i was not dissipointed , looks like the place was built and the left ,most of the tanks were dirty ,and due to the low level of lighting made if difficult to see some of the fish, no flash photography allowed unless close don,t bother, large free car park and site in a large park area
