  1. Nice quiet Wat, appears they are making lots of improvements to facilities here. You can get food and a drink here, pleasant to stroll around.

  2. this is amazing to see that nearly everything is made from bottles and concrete, its not just the temples,,,,,if your in the area worth the free visit

  3. I don’t know of any other temple that has multiple buildings made up of just bottles; beer, soda, energy drink bottles…

  4. It’s really beautiful with all beer bottles to make and build a fantastic temple ! This place is quiet but so hot maybe the weather there. This is really special because they built all by beers bottles. It’s amazing, good to see !

  5. Having read about this temple as a top attraction in Sisaket, and watching a YouTube video, we diverted our journey to visit this site. Whilst the temple is what is stated, a temple made of bottles, it did not impress me or my children aged 10 and 12 very much. And it was very hot. Possibly due to reflection from the glass, or lack of trees and shade.

  6. My wife and I were around the area so we decided to stop in and see the wat. It is definitely interesting but I would have been disappointed of we had driven an hour or more to see it. If you are close by and have the time stop in and see it, otherwise look at the photos.

  7. This was a very interesting place to visit and I were inpressed by the many buildings made of glass bottles.

  8. Not a big temple fan unless they are really different. And this one certainly is different! Was super quiet when we were there (no other visitors) but there was one aggressive dog.

  9. Thais seem to enjoy themed temples and a large dose of amusement or difference in their wat. There’s no denying it’s a curiosity but you could argue that it’s not real Buddhism. However Thais line up to do their homage to the Buddha and their smiling reverence is refreshing. My jury is out, but better yet, I shouldn’t judge at all. Worrying that bottles are falling off some of the roofs but the main buildings are OK. Don’t go too far out of your way and allow an hour max.

  10. One has to wonder how the builders of this wat managed to accumulate the thousands of beer and Red Bull bottles that make up this unique temple. Everything is made of bottles, including the water tower, crematorium, main temple and associated buildings. Parts of the temple are surprisingly artistic, considering the crazy construction material.
