Khao Chaison Hot Spring is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Khao Chaison Subdistrict, 93130, Thailand
Free entrance and free use of public hot spring pool. During our visit on 26 April 2018, the public pool is closed for maintenance. But the private mineral bath is operated. A VIP private mineral bathroom cost 200 baht/hour. Never missed the massage here, Full body massage at an opened fan room only cost 120baht/hour, Air-con room 150baht/hour.
Want to enjoy the piwer of hit waterbaths…than this could be yoyr place in the Phatthalung peivince. Busy place with mainly Thai people but clean and relaxing. Nice to enjoy it for an hour
This place was kind of a dud. The only reason I’ll be generous with 2 stars is that the stairs up to the caves look like they might be interesting. As I had earlier climbed 1066 steps to a temple a few hours earlier, the caves were not going to happen for me this day. The hot springs themselves were weird. Just one shallow man made pool with 20 local people sitting in knee deep water. What the heck is that all about? No English signs, so perhaps I was missing something? Take a pass on the smelly bathroom and the 1/2 inch layer of urine on the floor as well. The location is not too far off the main highway, so if you happen to be driving from Hat Yai to Nakhon and you want to walk to a few caves, then perhaps make a stop, but absolutely not worth a special trip or a long detour.
It’s free to visit. Parking fee is only THB20 per entry. The pool is well kept & crystal clear water. Beautiful landscape & reasonable charge for massage
I went there many time early morning. This place open from 4.30 am – 21.00! They have free pool that you can sit and chill around natural view and fresh air. Private room cost 120 baht per hours is also good. They have towel for you too.P.s. You should book for massage at the beginning..120 hours aircon/fan.
Happy that there are something’s to in this area but they should take better care of places like this and start cleaning things up and it would be great if there was some information in English on the site . The price to go and look is alright but this is in my opinion just a place to visit if you happens to drive by
A letdown hot spring with a pool for feet dipping which is in badly need for repair and is so hot it is scalding. Except for a few monkeys and a bit of nature shot it indeed is nothing to shout about. Oh ya, you can pay for massage there. Parking fee is 20 baht. You need not pay entrance fee for the hot spring itself. Nearby the hot spring, a cave called Tham Nam Yen, now this is the star attraction. It has two caves. One by foot and one by boat. We took the one by boat and we pleasantly surprised and glad we made this detour. You pay 200 baht for the boat ride and let me tell you that it is well worth the money. You are taken into a cave by boat and you will have to duck and lie down flat some places. You will see stalactite in shape of elephants marbles and even tits. Yes tits I lie you not. The boat ride is around 30-45 minutes. If you’re claustrophobic you might want to sit this one out. Give the boatman some tips cause they really work for their money.
I was pretty disappointed as how the place is kept, I personally think that there should be a lot upkeep and cleaning need to do at the compound area. The facilities is a little bit run down despite the hot springs is great!. No entrance fee but parking fee is 20baht.
The hotsprings as good as a few years back. However, the lack of maintenance works made the attraction point out
Unfortunately they have started charging money for visiting and they also discriminate people and charge foreigners more than citizens.
