  1. This is only King Cobra saving place, without any interest, a poor show for small tourists, nothing inetresting, one old crocodile stay in a durty water place very bad things, to lost for local people, don’t worry they give you only a small python for a pics nothing to do with King Cobra

  2. This place is a bad joke about snakes and one poor crocodile, the spectacle make me loafing and only for some people. Very bad animals living conditions

  3. Best parts was the cuddling, we cuddled a few minutes each with big king cobras for 100 baht. (Had their mouth taped)And at the souvernir stands, one vendor had some baby snakes in a box, available for cuddling. That was the best treat of the day!5 stars if the music hadn’t been so loud, thai-style.

  4. Isaan is famous for several things including the various dinosaur museums. But whereas the dinosaurs don’t sing and dance, at the Khon Kaen Cobra Village, the show depends on a troupe of pretty young Thai villagers who do just that, accompanied by a variety of snakes, The highlight of which can be when a well fed King Cobra stops the performance because it defecates. However it is when those villages, including several very young boys, tease a range of evil looking vipers, which may, or may not, have fangs, for the amusement of the audience. The Cobras themselves are also on view , but usually they are curled up asleep in the sun in their cages.Open seven day a week, during office hours. Well worth seeing once.Avoid if wet weather

  5. 40 baht for entrance fee and watching show; dance with snakes and fighting with snakes. Photo with snakes and shopping local goods, local herb balm and handicrafts.

  6. there was No one on the road. The only idiots were we, paying entrance fee to a neglected deserted area. It is a shame advertising this way of killing precious time.

  7. The staffs were friendly and helpful albeit unable to converse in English fluently. The snake show was a short one, probably due to the low season and the COVID-19.You’ll get to touch and hold the snakes after the show for a small fee in the form of a tip.Worth checking out when you are in Khon Kaen.THB100 entry fee applies for foreigners. Unsure about the rates for locals though.

  8. Wasn’t sure about this given the poor animal welfare re that Thailand is famous for. Although bad, it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. Many large cobras and other snakes in individuality cages. Two soft shell turtles in a water area that was too small. A sad looking crocodile in a concert and water pool and an even sadder one in a cage. Two civets next to 4 rather loud and lively monkeys.Show runs every hour from 10 – 4. A couple of older Thai men do some sort of boxing with the cobras and because we went on the weekend, there were two children performing as well. One about 12, the other only 4 yaw old. Thankfully no women!Extremely loud commentary and Thai Muay boxing music accompanied the 30 minute show.Chance for a photo with one of the cobras, whose mouth was taped shut at the end for a small contribution.Entry is 100 baht for adults and 40 baht for children.Interesting enough if you can get over the treatment of the snakes. Historically these villagers traveled around Thailand performing with their snakes (1952) and now they are just in this village trying to scrape a living, The Covid19 problem has certainly affected them considerably.

  9. We wanted to see the King Cobra show but couldn’t find times so just went there. It has been quiet for them lately but they were happy to put on a show for us and it didn’t dissapoint. Kids were also involved as they learn snake handling. There are toilets and food stalls on site and plenty of things to look at. We were there for about 2 hours. Snake show price is a donation and we were generous as we wanted to support the village in the quiet season .
