This beach on the west coast of Koh Sichang island was a very relaxed place. I felt like I was 100 miles from everything. A sandy beach with crystal clear waters. You can rent a bech chair or a kayak. I rented a chair and ordered a great fish lunch. I want to come back here without stopping at other attractions on the island. Just bring a book and stay at this beach all day. You can rent a tuk tub to drive you, and when you want to go back just call and you will be picked up within 15 minutes.
We opted to walk, from our GH which was more than 3km, not the easiest road to negotiate, (beware the aggresive pack of dogs), but none the less it was enjoyable going on foot and getting all the great views as we approached the beach entrance. The ocean itself was good for swimming, and clean, however it was disappointing that most of the beach frontage was overrun with a ridiculous amount of big umbrellas and tables, that you had to pay to sit at and use, leaving nowhere really out of the hot sun just to chill and enjoy.. even if you brought a beer of food and sat there you couldn’t see a thing for the umbrellas.. difficult to negotiate your way thru the tables and chairs too.If you ignored this you could walk a little way to enjoy some peace and quiet on the rocks.
Nice beach, clear water, good place for swimming and snorkeling. Try not to hit the rocks in the water. Some bars on the beach to grab food and drink.
This is really the only swimming beach on the island.Sit under an umbrella and order some great local seafood and beer.Only negative was this time we were here (2 weeks ago) there were a lot of sea lice and some of our friends we re badly bitten
I’m so lucky when I arrived in here – just a few of tourists. The chairs are free of charge.Local people offered some food and beverages. There are some clothes shops near the parking and toilet area.White sand beach and clear water. I love it!
This Beach is the best and the locals try to make it a really good time. Restaurants, shower and toilets are affordable, available and easy to access. Water is nice specially when the sandbank gives a nice soft way into the water. Not too rough but not calm at all, enough to take a nice swim or bath. Afternoon sun is the best with a great sundowner.
Once you arrive by ferry from Sri Racha, one rents a scooter and heads off to this beach. Why? Because it is sandy, looks over the Gulf of Thailand sea, has great deck chairs and umbrellas all free. There is always a constant breeze, the sea is wonderful and warm, excellent for swimming. The surrounding little eateries offer a good spread of Thai dishes with any drink of your choice at very reasonable prices. There are changing cabins, at a little price where one can take showers and change. What is appreciated is that nobody bothers you even the dogs on the beach don’t come near to you when you eat or snack. We spent a good number of hours there and recommend highly.
Completely crazy! Construction site for a bungalow right up to the water. The small, cozy and beautiful beach is permanently destroyed. And there is basically no other beach left.Yes, it is possible to get into the sea water via broken glass and garbage here and there. But there is no infrastructure at all.And there is a huge risk of injury. For many years I was a guest here every year… it’s over. Bye, bye!!!
