Yao Beach is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Moo 6, Thailand
this beach so very big , never see before. and is beautiful – if you have day time , please you have to go ,is free nobody want you to pay money to be on the beach
Had Yao Beach has unbelievably beautiful beaches that stretch out of sight, sea birds, huge Andaman Sea breakers, towering cliffs, tossing palm trees and inexpensive beach cabins rented to locals, next to more pricey tourist resorts. You can buy fresh eggs and fruit from local markets and shops or eat at the expensive resort restaurants. I like to rent little Thai cabins almost on the sand and use old freezer chest lids (piled on the beach for guests) as skim boards to ride the waves. I bring a camera and take photos of sea eagles and other birds that are abundant there.
This is a nice beach with nice sand (just like Yong Ling Beach further up the coast), unlike many of the other beaches on the Trang coastline which are littered with sea shells making it hard to walk. There’s no restaurant but there are a couple of food stands selling some eats. The beach is easily accesible by car/scooter and is just around the corner from the Hat Yao Pier where you can catch a ferry or long tail boats to the island – making this a nice place to relax while you wait for the ferry service to Koh Mook which only runs at midday. There’s also rather nice accommodation for 1000 Baht per nigh (some of the nicest accommodation we’ve seen in Thailand for this price and location).
So far the best beach close to the town. I’ve been to this stunning place several times and mostly alone. You could relax the whole literally. The water is clear, the sand is near white, environment is okay and the ambience is great. The antidote for commercialize Pakmeng. If you need help, follow me on Ig (fromgrassland) I can assist you when in Trang. Summer is approaching. All the best.
Had Yao beach is a short distance from Pakmeng beach, Trang. Very few tourists venture away from Pakmeng, on their way to the islands, but they should if they have the time.It is very scenic, and has a completely natural feel to it. It is usually deserted, unless you go on a weekend. This is a beach locals from Trang visit, and they usually know what’s best.
Haad Yao is a beach with beautiful sea pine. Is a very wide beach Very interesting. There are many restaurants to choose from. There are accommodation for rent. There are many places to take pictures.
It was about 40 kilometers drive from Trang but we were delightfully surprised to discover this scenic beach. The actual beaches road is also quite long and stretched over 50 km along this coast. There are also several islands that can be viewed from the shoreline.
This is a beautiful beach with some nice rocks. While it was not secluded as I hoped, it was worth a trip and it was reasonably clean.
